The Michelin ENERGY SAVER can be summed up in just a few words: reduced fuel consumption and shorter braking distances. This tyre is designed for everyday use in family cars, city cars and minivans. As well as safety and reliable drivability in any conditions, these tyres also offer reduced fuel consumption. This is due to the use of a special rubber compound, noted for its durability and lightness. This means that the tyre weighs less than other models of the same class, thus significantly reducing fuel consumption.

The Michelin ENERGY SAVER also has a long lifetime since the tyre is durable and wears evenly. This not only ensures that it lasts longer, but also guarantees a safer journey by providing an optimal performance throughout the tyre's lifetime. Using innovative solutions, the tyre's developers managed to reduce braking distances on wet surfaces by up to 3 metres compared with the previous generation of tyres. This is a significant difference, especially for drivers paying particular attention to safety when choosing a tyre. The Michelin ENERGY SAVER is one of the new generation of Michelin tyres that use silica instead of soot (previously used as one of the components of building tyres). The tyre therefore meets the highest ecological standards and is environmentally friendly both during its production and when in use.

Michelin

Michelin is the largest tyre producer in Europe. The brand currently specialises in the production of top-class tyres and found fame as the producer of Formula 1 tyres. Apart from its own brand, the group is also a majority shareholder in companies such as: Riken, Taurus, Siamtyre, Tigar, Euromaster, Warrior, Kormoran, Recamic, Kleber and BFGoodrich. The headquarters of the French company, founded in 1889, are in Clermont-Ferrand, the city where the brothers André and Édouard Michelin founded the company over 120 years ago.

Welcome. I never play with giving reviews etc, but now I just cannot prevent myself from doing that. I have no idea why people write good reviews about these tyres. I bought them because there were a lot of positive reviews about them. I put them in May it was quite sunny and dry but even such weather condition and dry road caused my ABS to turn on while braking (TRAGEDY). When the rain came tyres just started to swim and slip, no matter if moving-off, braking or cornering... The ESP was on almost everytime. I thought that maybe something is wrong with my car so I went to the fitting station to check the balancing. After visiting my mechanic I understood that 300GBP went down the drain... These tyres are a total disaster. I bought them in spring in 2009 with the 2008DOT. I made a technical inspection in the beggining of winter and they were totaly damaged. After 10.000 miles huge cracks along the tread appeared. When driving 60MPH they rumble like chinese crap. When the rain falls I feel like I cannot control my car ( I almost lose control of my car totally). Uniroyals or Firestones deal with wet road much better than these. I drove over 200.000 miles on different tyres (chinese, german, japanese)... These were probably the worst tyres that I have ever used in my entire life. I wouldn't recommend them even to my enemies. I bought these tyres on sale. They are worth their price. i used Matadors lately and they were a total crap. On Michelin Energy Savers everything is different. I felt like moving to another car one class higher. They have very low rolling resistance, and my power steering appeared to work better. My Skoda has a stiff suspension and Energy Savers- as they are made from soft mixture rubber- make my suspension to work much more silent. There is a total silence in my car and I have to get used to it :). Fast cornering just meks me smile. To sum up, I am very satisfied with Michelin Energy Savers and I can deifinitely recommend them. I used Energy mxt aglis 41. They were very good but Energy Savers are way better. On dry road just excellent. Silent, comfortable. very good grip. it is almost imposible to skid. I cannot say wheter the fuel use was lowered because my driving style is very different. Very good / safe braking. Mine were produced in Russia but I dont have any restrictions. I recommend them as they appeared to me very safe. I will never change the tyre brand. Michelin Energy Saver are awesome. In addition I will say that even my wife found Energy Savers very safe and silent. Read more Collapse

These tyres after 7.000 miles were damaged. I made an official complaint to Michelin but unfortunately they have lost my complaint form. After plenty of calls and 2.5 month of waiting they did not accept my complaint. They 'generously' proposed me to buy new tyres with 10% discount. It is freakin' joke! These were my last michelins. I will never buy them again. Last 3 models of Michelins that I had were ok but these are a total disaster. My ESP truns on every time when its just a little rain and the road is barerly wet. I dont recommend them to anybody ! Read more Collapse

I recommend Energy Savers to everybody.; I bought them alst year and I am very satisfied. No problem with balancing, quiet and safe tyres. They behave very good on dry road as they provide very good grip. A bit worse on wet road but in comparison to low-class tyres they are way better. I did not notice any fails while brakin. The only thing that I dont like with them is their design. but I dont care about the design unless the safety is very high. This year I will definitely buy them again. Read more Collapse

The best tyres that I ever had in my life. Last year I changed winter/summer tyres to early. I had to go to Slovakia in March. Michelin Energy Savers had no problems with driving through snow.mountains etc. They behaved better than Bridgestones (typical winter tyres). I can compare them to ContiPremiumContact - and I have to say that Michelins are way better. There is no big difference when driving on dry road.... but on the wet road surface Michelins are more stable, safe and confident. Read more Collapse

These tyres caused steering wheel wobbling in my car. On the balancing machine these tyres appeared to have un-even tread. I made an official complain to Michelin but they did not accept it. They considered my complain only after Oponeo intervention. (I am very thankfull to oponeo for that). Michelin send me new tyres but I decided to sell them rather than using them again and risk any other problems. Unfortunately, even Michelins- old and expensive brand- quality is poor. Very quiet tyres. Very low rolling resistance. Very good grip on wet road but when you have to brake fast and stop - these tyres can't do that. It is not a disaster but I drove on better tyres in my life. Soft sides which don't let you cornering dynamicaly. Size 205/55 its the best solution if you want to feel comfortable and safe in your car but sometimes in a tight corner they can disappoint you. I recommend them for those who drive not to fast and care about comfort. Read more Collapse

Brilliant tyres under any circustances. I bought the to lower the fuel usage in my car and they really did it. I am positively suprised by the properties of that tyre. EnergySavers are very hard wearing - they grip insanely on dry and wet road. (they saved me from crash once) and they are realy quiet. they arent cheap but obviously you pay for the best quality. I recommend them. I recommend using oponeo.co.uk as the prices are lower than in any other shop. Read more Collapse

Driving on these tyres over 60MPH causes a terrible rumble. Very noisy tyres. I balanced them twice. Now they are balanced 100% good and still I can feel a smal wobbling on my steering wheel. I dont know for who these tyres are silent. Probably for somebody who is a bit def,,, I am very disappointed. They are not cheap at all and the price / quality ratios falls a bit weak. The tyres were already fiited to the car and had covered 4500 miles, they are just aproaching 30,000 and still fine on the rear, but just about ready to replace on the front, not bad as i am a driving instructor, they are fitted to a Fiesta Titanium 1.6 Diesel. Not cheap but lasting longer than normal, no real complaints. Will be fitting two new ones very soon. Read more Collapse

The tire got together with the car. Previously, the only experience I've had it with the tires Debica for R13. The fact that the Grande Punto is pretty good but the suspension holding tank is poetry when it comes to cornering. Apparently it is only 175 mm but once I entered the 180 ° turn upwards at a speed of about 40-45 km and there was Pisek. Recently, in a similar arc walked at a speed of 50 km (fact have their five season) is slightly squealed giving a sign that it is far too soon but it was! Tires May made easy 50tys + May I have a little tread. As for braking and Starting off with a squeal. Inhibit rather quickly, and pulling away with a squeal hmm. I've seen some comments here that some of the tires you can not move with a squeal. I do not agree with that. In this country we have this mentality that everything is possible, many times I was able to move with a squeal and even digging two-ke hear the squeak - so "want to be able to," but in no way proves it wrong about tires - is a matter of feel for the car. As for burning tire is rolling pretty cool factor as can be seen at the time when you want to make full use of the Eco-Driving and get low combustion. The 1.2 8v Gp the stretch 100km fuel consumption of 4.0l or 4.5l over long distances is not a problem. Do I re-bought the tire ... Very happy - if I earn more: D Read more Collapse

A few words of introduction. My tire test was carried out on vacation. Route to drive from the center of Polish by Germany, Switzerland, to France (1890 miles) and back and the rest of the tour of Switzerland and France. A total of 5600 km in three weeks. Surfaces on which ran the tires are practically all that can be found not to mention a strong przełaju and winter (summer tires). Driving on the highway very comfortable and quiet. I also have to mention that I had a situation where I had the highway at 120 km perform a quick maneuver so-called elk, tires have lost grip and mastered the car without too much trouble. As for the arches that had them in abundance in Switzerland and in France (Alps Provençal). Since I could not help overcome these curves with a slightly higher speed (up to disc grzały). I can say with a clear conscience that they keep very well sometimes squealed but I can not have them thank you for it, in the end it was my fault. Braking was also very well not to lose grip ABS is not załączał a couple of times when I emergency brake. Finally, let me add that in the wet in Poland also keep up trumps. In conclusion worthy of recommendation. Read more Collapse

On mountain roads strongly recommend to keep the tire pressure 3/4 decimal points higher. So you will get the best regular consumption and a longer durability of the same in terms Kilometrici, without affecting the comfort accordingly. With this arrangement pay slightly more careful when cornering on wet roads. It will maintain in any case a good sealing in sudden braking and planing on water. I also found a drop in fuel consumption by 2%. Km. 25,000 currently paths on mountain roads for 70%, the current wear equal to 75% before the "marker" of wear. I hope to Essevi been helpful. For about 15 years I ride on Michelin tires of different types both in summer and winter. From about 4 - 5 years I use ENERGY SAVER summer and winter ALPINA 4 and I'm happy with them. Auto / large van / holds the road in different weather conditions both in the city and on the highway and never during those long trips as well as those around the town did not think that would disappoint me. With Michelin letterhead or summer - winter also benefits my wife and me also praise them. I have been going for 30 years and I think that Michelin tires are unbeatable. I had a different brand will not be exchanged but Michelin are really unbeatable both in behavior on dry and wet surfaces. They are durable and even after 50 000km przjechaniu not see signs of wear. Perfectly they behave in the wet, braking the same as dry can be powiedzić in any case no noticeable difference. During the ride you can hear literally like a przysysają to the asphalt pavement. They are quiet and feel comfort when changing from other brands on Michelin. The middle class are unrivaled and will always stay with this brand. I have not tested the upper classes. Excellent choice dalekodystansowy, dura mater, proven in the heat over 40 degrees on motorways and in foreign cities. Besides a bad mix, it gives advice in the rain, but there is a slight slippage axes at the too rapid addition of gas. Rolling resistance BRILLIANT !!! Really gas after deducting the car has more inertia, less fuel. Previously I had Conti Premiumy Contacty and also were great (similar characteristics). Inhibition OK. It should take about an increased speed rating to ensure better security, less swings in the corners. The choice for those who value comfort and economy. I bought donuts as a used one season max mileage 3000km on them for trivial price. Born in 2014 in Leipzig tread sides have tits like. Tires ultra quiet at a speed of 180km / h, you can not hear them at all and did not feel that the car is traveling so much. Inhibition elegant wet and dry conditions. The twists and turns that I entered earlier at low speeds can enter 60 and has no shot,. Auto firmly sticks to the road. I had no idea that so I'll be pleasantly surprised. If anyone is looking for the right tires is no problem, you can order the Michelin Energy Saver. I bought the cheapness but they are worth it. Read more Collapse

Unfortunately, the next car and again on Michelinach. This time, the Energy saver without a plus. In the wet the massacre as at each year Michelinach few years. While on the hot asphalt to hold, so on cool or so as often as we have in the UK is low. Found only on the strength advantage is durability - can withstand a lot of mileage (~ 70000km) for urban driving. I'm just waiting when they start beeping at every turn (of which I used in ostatanich years, 3 sets michelinów usually start after approx. 3 years). They are loud. Summer Michelin simply not suitable for our mostly wet and cool climate. Read more Collapse

Tires firstly very loud, even as aggressive tread pattern as the winter Vredenstein Snowtrac 3 is quieter - ignoring the difference on paper, in reality there are a lot louder. For wet are tragic, literally drives like the mud. Tires simply inadequate to Polish conditions, meet the needs of dry and heated tarmac at the UK takes place a few weeks a year. With average temperatures mix hardens very simply by what they are slippery. After several seasons start beeping at every turn in warm aura. The only advantage is the relatively long lifetime. When I set up the tyres to your Toyotki I felt like I was in a new car. The car just started to "ride". Awesome! Rolling resistance is actually lower as can be seen in fuel consumption (0.5-0.8 l/100 km less than the year Firestone). Safe handling of large puddles. After two summer seasons (40,000 miles) look almost like new. After three seasons, it would be a shame to throw away, and I was riding on new tyres max.3. Price for punciaka was because space for the size 165/65 R 14 260zł + is space. The biggest advantage is the durability of these tires, you gotta admit them with a set of robust 6-7 years. Burning a little smaller than the winter Good Year UG7 +, but higher than the Kumho IZEN XW13. Amazingly slow tread wear.
