With the special rubber compound based on functional elastomers and the addition of silica, Michelin CrossClimate+ maintains its performance both in summer and in winter (which is proved by the 3PMSF affixed on the side).
The tyre was tested in temperatures from -30°C to +40°C and the tests ran for nearly 5 million kilometres. The manufacturer has managed to improve the durability, which is even 25% higher compared to other premium all-season tyres. The properties of the tyre’s surface enhance the grip even on wet roads, which makes travelling on CrossClimate+ safe.
Michelin CrossClimate+ has a directional tread pattern with V-shaped grooves. The use of such a pattern implies the need of directional installation, as per the “Rotation” marking. Thanks to the deep grooves and drain notches, the model perfectly drains water from under the crown ply.
Additionally, the self-locking 3D sipes support braking on dry surfaces and ensure mobility on snowy roads. The tread pattern increases the effect of engagement on snow, and with the high stiffness the tyre is more durable.
At Michelin, they focus on high product quality. The brand has been active on the market since 1889 and has constantly developed by introducing new technologies and surprising solutions. The brand sets the direction of development for the entire industry, so it’s no surprise that they want to be the leaders by improving their technologies for reliable and safe tyres.
