    Opinion from outside the UK

I've bought Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ at the beginning of September. My choice was influenced by the really reasonable price. I installed them in the middle of October as a result of the predictions of the soon and severe winter. I drove in the temp. exceeding 15 C degrees. In these conditions the tyre is splendid. It is imperceptible that it's the winter tyre, quiet, holding well in the bends, braking - splendid. On the wet also superb. Since a few days we have winter and I drove on them about 450 miles in really hard conditions. Overall, I am pleased, moving out uphill on the snowy surface without problems, braking also decent. The only drawback is the side-holding on the snow. One has to pay attention when driving on the roundabout. The appearance of Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ is marvellous. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Standard purchase of 4 Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ tyres due to the marvellous results in the tests (in ADAC always in the first trio) and from my experience - I once drove the model 7 'without the plus' in the company Vectra. Splendid traction in all conditions, especially in the snow. Many long routes, driveway to the "Morskie Oko" pond in Tatra Mountains in the deep snow where as one of the few I did not have snow chains added (although I had them in the boot) - they were simply not necessary even on the steep mountain uphill roads. Perfect also for the snow-covered surfaces and on water, and this cannot be said about most of the winter tyres. I admire the universal chracter of Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Up to this day I've driven on Continental ContiWinterContact TS 830 (they were added at the purchase of the car, I used them since the previous season but judging from the condition I assess they might have had 2 more seasons which is 3,5 - 4,5 together). However, today one of them has blown and I mounted new Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ at the front axis. The difference in the quality is marvellous, perhaps partly because the previous ones, as I wrote earlier, were partially worn, however, I am positively surprised. Certainly, for the next winter I will replace the remaining two tyres for Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+. The car runs superb and more importantly, it brakes really good! I honestly recommend. I definitely recommend Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+, one of the best winter tyres I had, you can calmly absolve from buying some cheaper inventions like Debica, Kormoran, etc. The tyre is worth its price, it works perfectly on snow - few trips in the mountains in this season was not a problem, moving off on the snow uphill without objection. When it comes to the city and slush or water they also performed splendid. The only thing I can charge them with is the attrition. By such a high torque they will work maybe 2 more seasons max. On the ice there is nothing to assess only spikes will help. I will definitely purchase them again. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ - very good tyre for winter especially for SUV. It perfectly holds the road. It does well in just fallen snow. I pulled another car using them so they performed great and effortless. On the wet road they hold the asphalt perfectly and not only by permitted speeds. They hold the road fantastically. I bought them from choice and did a right one and this becomes hard with the wide range of tyres on offer. The only disadvantage is the price. It coud be lower but we should ask what is worth our safety. I drive dynamically but if someone has calmer foot he/she will drive more seasons than I. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ the second season already, I have driven about 25000 miles and they still perform great. Whereas the tread wear is noticeable it does not influence the driving properties. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I cover most distances outside the city where the tyres come into contact with the slush and not with the new, powdery snow. Besides, Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ are very quiet (as for the winter tyres), they perform great on the snow. The only drawback is that by the temp. above 10 C degrees the tyres become very soft which causes greater rolling resistance. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ behaves perfect in the winter conditions. On the snow and ice-covered road it works splendid. Slightly worse on the slush. The only drawback of the tyres, I'm writing it as this is the 3rd set of the tyres of this label (before Excellence and Ultra Grip) is the poor precision of production. The tyres of this brand are hard to balance and they always show even minimal vibes on the steering wheel (most often at the speed of 110-120 km/h). Yokohama and Continental tyres with the same rims, balanced in the same workshop - no vibes. Read more Collapse

Hello. Now I drive on Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+. The tyre is perfect and certainly worth its' price. Quiet, in comparison with the previous model UG7, behaviour on the dry surface very good, on the snow marvellous. Fuel consumption with no changes and I have the confidence to say that it decreased in relation to the summer tyre (surely, it results from the softer rubber mixture), attrition at the good level. After the season I did not notice any significant tread wear (after dirving about 8000 miles mainly on the routes about 1mm wore). Read more Collapse

I drove on Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+about 16000 miles. In previous season I did not complain, although few snowy days disappointed me. This winter the tyres completely failed. Moving out and driving on snow and slush is terrifying. One has to pay extra attention, move out gently, in the bends drive with the momentum and slowly. On the ice the car skids sideways on every roughness. Fortunately, I drive very carefully and calmly so it goes without bumps. I am not going to buy the next winter Goodyear but I will look for another producer. Read more Collapse

It happened that I bought secondhands after two seasons from Germany. I have the comparison with the new tyres in another car and these work perfect; I would say they are even better from them. They perform perfect on snow, mud and ice. The only problem is moving out in quite a deep snow. The loudness of the tyre is also acceptable even in the warm, sunny days. Generally recommendable. I feel safe on Goodyear Ultra Grip 7+ on the road. Mine are produced in Germany, although they are also produced in China. I recommend german ones. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I go Atos Prime II, so the tyres for this car would seem to be a slight exaggeration. On the other hand, how to ride the box is anything that increases a little chance of survival is worth their money - as these tyres. I'm just starting season 4. Were already winter and snow, and cold, and warm, and wet. A revelation when it comes to snow or snow rozjeżdżony - great stick in the corners, well inhibit, when starting you know - how much przygazuje is any breaks traction. The great thing is that, long before it falls into the slip (on these tyres as a rule usually somehow controlled and to output) this is a warning signal in the form of a reduced sense of resistance on the steering wheel. 2x inhibited the emergency lights on the front of the glass and 2x total saved the bumper (car in front of me, however, inhibited the worse and slowly moving away). In wet years Rainexperty hold as Uniroyal, which is very good. The only note: This is a typical winter tyres - I propose to set up after the first frost before the end of October, because as the winter season ended abruptly in April (the sun was shining and it was 12 C) is on the hot asphalt tyres begin to flow (with fierce dohamowaniu ABS in action ) and just kill, harm them in such conditions. A few seasons przejeździłem the UG7 and I think that the tyre was excellent. Mostly moving out of town, mountain terrain with lots of (as is common in Poland), or bad cleared of snow not cleared of snow roads. Made his life, so I bought UG7 +, since those were very good these too sure. But still there is a difference. The mixture used for the manufacture of rubber (as given by the manufacturer) actually reduces tyre abrasion, but ... worse traction in the snow! The same car, the same mountain, and I can not go on UG7 +, which the predecessor (UG7) did not occur, even after 3 seasons of use. What did the tyre that has less abrasion (actually it is) hard to move uphill. Personally, I prefer season tyres have less and be able to break through the snow. On a side note on the tyres UG7 + appeared fine, but still bulging, after a season of use. Something was wrong. Looking for other tyres. Previous model recommended in the dark, this is the plus-minus. I do not recommend. I think that in the city. Read more Collapse

There may be terms and cars, in which the tyre is actually as good as the reviews on it. I do not podpasowała. In dry conditions it is OK (but warm days are not very precise but winter tyre is on a hot day), wet works very well. The biggest problem is riding on something between snow and slush. The snow gives advice but without exaggeration, a very wet slush it is not the worst but do not give advice on a thick slush. Hockey is not going. Tyre fairly quiet and little is consumed. As for the resistance I do not know how to reliably check it out. Apparently very heavy diesel with high torque is not the best for this tyre Read more Collapse

Kinda funny that I tyre more expensive than cars / 16-year-old CC 700 /, but they are amazing! At maneuvers I make, the Debice or kormoranach, I probably already posted behind the worlds ;) There are better tyres, maybe even Dunlop Winter Response. Incredibly quiet as winter tyres, totally full control of the car in emergency situations. If someone respects their lives and health, you should buy these tyres. Tyres recommendable. I do not have the slightest objection to them. Winter is the distance traveled in 90% of the route wawa-estate-buried, podhale, Alps in Austria. I had the opportunity to drive a car on the road in both wet and snow-covered or icy completely. Not infrequently they were steep climbs and descents. I have them for 3 weeks. Winter is what everyone knows you do not need to go to the mountains to find out that the tyre is excellent. Deep snow, ruts are no problem. Neighbors run with shovels digging up the parking lot and my car and I was just leaving. They are very quiet. I highly recommend. I do not recommend tyres produced in Slovenia - a lot of negative reviews, quick to consume, pop some bubbles, etc. My manufactured in France. Regards Read more Collapse

The one that reputation and brand, on the other disadvantages as in every cheap manufacturer. Reinforcing mesh burst tire gets very ugly balloons and worst of all is a huge propensity to teething. Excellent you have driven through the snow and slush, on dry was a bit louder and worse depreciation. Sometimes I had the impression that this tire is not on our winters - the element is snow, slush and snow again. Under these conditions feels best.
