Dębica Navigator 2

Dębica Navigator 2 is an economy-class all-season tyre which offers remarkable performance in varied weather conditions. The model is made of a modern rubber compound with excellent flexibility parameters in a wide range of temperatures. As a result, the tyre guarantees maximum performance in all seasons.

Debica Navigator 2 - bieznik

The tyre tread was designed on the basis of the tread seen in the Goodyear Vector 3 and it uses a block shape pattern, which was previously reserved for higher-end models. The numerous slanted grooves and optimized build have significantly improved driving safety. Wide grooves effectively expel water from beneath the tyre to decrease the risk of hydroplaning. Effective drying of the tread improves traction and driving stability, regardless of the weather conditions. The model features well-rounded parameters in both summer and winter. During cold months, the tyre retains high elasticity, while in the summer, it is resistant to wear and maintains optimal hardness. Thanks to the special shape of the edges, vibrations and noise emitted when driving are immediately dampened, and the journey is silent and pleasant.

Dębica Navigator 2 guarantees precise handling and fast steering response. The model is perfectly suitable for driving in city traffic and on longer and more demanding routes. Dębica Navigator 2 is the perfect solution for drivers of D-segment vehicles who don't want to worry about changing tyres twice every year. The tyre is available in sizes from 13 to 14 inches.

    Opinion from outside the UK

It is already my second Debica set. I purchased it from Oponeo for good price though. Shortly about my driving style: -mosty city but I need to make some longer distance from time to time, -one tyre set for whole year, -I am calm and resonable driver, -car is parked on the open air. Debica Navigator 2 works really well for my needs, I have to say. There is nothing to complain about. Driving on dry roads is nice and smooth. Sometimes it is possible to hear some noise created by a tyre but I don't really care about it. Traction is more than enough. Wet roads are not a problem too. It may be a litte bit hard to drive on snow because I have noticed that during one of my trips to another city in December. However, if someone drives mostly in the city it is not really the issue as there is not too much of snow, some slush rather. I don't want to judge how Debica looks like, it is just a tyre. So far so good, I never had to visit a garage because of this tyres. To conclude: tyres recommended to anyone who wants to buy solid product for a good price. When this set will worn off I will check offer and prices but there is a really big chance that I will decide to buy Debica once again. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought this Debica model for my work car. I am construction worker and I need to drive from one place to another very often. You can imagine what kind of road condition my car needs to face on custruction sites. Lack of asphalt, lot of mud, sand, rocks, sun and rain, all what you can think about. I have to say that this tyre model seems to be created for this kind of usage. After about a year tyres are still in pretty good condition and there is no need to replace even a single one. What is important, it is not only my opinion but the same thing I heard on MOT recently. Traction on dry and wet roads is more than enough for me. I don't drive too fast, my car is often heavy loaded but weight is the extra test for tyres. Durability seems to be on the highest level. After a year of using them as described above they are still all right. Price is really nice, espoecially if you would compare them to premium brands. I can recommend Debica Navigator 2 for anyone who would like to use all season tyres. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

You can see by the tread pattern that this tyre is more dedicated to winter than summer weather conditions. However, in my opinion Debica Navigator 2 is more than all right for both seasons. It seems to be effect of good compounds mixture and the way how the tread is designed, it is very simillar to the tread of Goodyear Vector 3 which is excellent tyre model. I think that those factors make Debica so good product. If it comes to winter weather conditions, roads covered by slush or snow, tyres work great. No problems with grip or traction. I never lost control of the vehicle. Wet road is not a problem too. They keep a car on the road easily. Tis tyre drains a water phenomenally. It is a little bit worst when temperature is high. During some fast driving some users will find them nosiy but it is not really big disadvantage because there is nothing to complain if it comes to the grip or traction. Recommended. Opinion from outside the UK

I purchased two pieces to combine them with Michelin tyres which still were in pretty good shape. Initially it was easy to feel the difference but I don't know what was the reason, to be honest. After about a week everything was all right. No problems aat all for next few months. Now I swapped them over. Michelins went to the rear axle and Debica are on the front one. I decided to do it because Michelins will worn off shortly probably so I think it is better to have them on the back of my vehicle. I have an impression that Debica Navigator 2 is slightly better than some Kleber model which I have fitted on my other car. It is first time when I bought all season tyres. I always had two sets, winter and summer. For a safety and that was always good way to take care about a car in my opinion. If I would know that all weather tyres are such a good solution probably I would use them much earlier. Highly recommended. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought set of this Debica model on the beginning of 2012. My car is not really powerful one and this tyre is perfect for it. I have done some decent mileage on them and I am satisfied. Once I drove into really big pothole and nothing bad happened to the tyre so endurance is on high level I would say. However, I recommend them for calm drivers. I have a feeling that fast and crazy ride could be a little bit to much for this tyre model. One thing worth to mention is the fact that they worn off faster in summer so you need to keep it in mind. Personally I will just swap over from and rears ones from time to time and it should be ok. Price is one of the main advantages. Tyre dedicated for day to day driving, not big mileage and to someone who would like to save some money. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

This Debica model is really good for winter weather conditions. Set of those can handle almost every snow or slush. I had no problems through all winter time. However, summer is hard time. I don't know how is it possible that there is so many good revievs about this tyre. When temperature is high, lets say about 30 degrees, it is almost impossible to start dynamicly, there is no grip at all. Wet asphalt is a way to much for this tyre. I don't mean anything crazy, it is only about basic safety which I feel like is not provided by Debica. Wet grip kind of doesn't exist. When road is even a little bit wet it is necessary to slow down and look around because you never know when tyres will let you down. When I decided to buy set of those pirce was the main factor. I am not satisfied to be honest. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

If you consider to buy good but partly worn tyres or some cheap Chinese brands - leave both ideas and try Debica Navigator 2. They perform great on dry roads, will keep you on the track. Driving on snow and slush - sensational. I have not noticed any difference between second hand winter tyre and this all season Debica. This model is pretty quiet and if you will keep correct pressure level, rolling resistance will be low and fuel efficiency then will allow you to save some money. The main and pretty much only disadvantage is cornering. You need to be careful especially when road is wet or covered by slush/snow. Just drive reasonably and nothing will happen, same thing for every tyre model probably. Recommended for anyone who doesn't need racing tyre, just for city driving and average user. I bought Debica set when I have been told that my current tyres are absolutely illegal. I had to drive quite a distance then so I decided to make some research and buy some new tyres. I have been advised that all season tyre set is really good idea for UK weather type. I found offer for Debica. Nice price, a lot of users and opinions, most of them were good so I purchased set of four. I knew that it is budget class product so I didn't expect too much. I have to say that I was surprised. Short braking distance, low noise level, nice traction and cornering. Winter weather is not a problem too. Once I had to drive through the road completely covered by a snow. Of course, I was driving calmly but it never that I lost control of the vehicle. Excelent value for the money. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have been using my Navigator 2 tyres for several months now. In summer, the tyres behave well and, when driving calmly in the city and at high speeds outside the city, do not exhibit any negative effects such as excessive noise or poor grip. The tyres have really come into their own in winter, however. Despite the harsh conditions, I was not disappointed. I was able to get out of unbelievable drifts, it was easy to move off on hard snow and ice, and the car responded to braking and acceleration without any problems. Until now, I thought that all-season tyres were not suitable for extreme conditions, but the Navigator 2 is the best solution for the average user who does not have money for two sets of tyres. I recommend the Navigator 2 to drivers who enjoy calm driving. Read more Collapse

Good tyre in the dry. The tyres are good in the dry, although not sensational, but there is no reason to believe that for the money. The car has these tyres mounted only on the front and I thought that I would drive on them this winter and only buy new ones in the summer, but when the first snows fell, things started to go wrong. I live in the mountains and driving downhill at 20 km/h on a white road and lightly pressing the brake ends in a skid. On a wet road the car does not grip confidently. Noticeable understeer on large bends. Overall, I am forced to change my tyres. To sum up, if you only have to drive on salted and well-maintained roads in winter and do not drive fast, I think you can drive on these tyres. However, they are not suitable for real winter conditions. Read more Collapse

It was not important for me what kind of tyres I use until I bought set of new Debica Navigator 2. I used to buy partly worn tyres with some good tread. This tyre set was my first purchase of brand new tyres. Four factors were the most important for me: all season product, low noise level (up to 70 decibels, I reject all models with higher score, does not matter what brand), durability and rolling resistance level. I drive quite a lot and I need to say that it was one of the best decisions, to buy and test them. I have them from two years now and there is not too much to complain about. They are a little bit to soft during summer but it is not really big deal. Recommended for average user. Not the best choice for someone who like speed driving though. Read more Collapse

I had Debica Passio tyres on my old car and they alienated me from the brand. They wore out quickly and I had to visit the garage every now and then because of a flat tire. This year I got them at a bargain price so I put them on my work car and they turned out to be phenomenal. On snow, I could easily drive out of the residential street where I live and this winter the plough did not come. In car parks where no one deigned to blow away the snow, I drove in and out with ease. As for the noise, they are relatively quiet, I have Firestone on my Seat and the noise is terrible on a dry road. I would add that on these Firestone tyres I could not drive out of the street where I live. For a car that does 7,000 miles a year they will probably last 4 seasons Read more Collapse

I have Debica Navigator 2 from few years. I would like to share my opinion about this model. - it is a good choice if you don't do crazy mileage. Tyre is dedicated for city drivers. It is a little bit worst than middle class summer and winter tyres but for all weather product it is all right. - high temperatures makes it soft and you need to keep it in mind as starting a car from traffic lights for example may be difficult, - really good for winter. They perform like normal winter tyres. Just remember to check a tread depth. You need to have enough for few months of slush and harder conditions in general. - after three seasons I managed to save enough money on changing tyres from summer to winter set, that I can afford two new all season tyres. I sincerely recommend them. Since I bought my skoda in 1997 I have been driving on these tyres and they have never let me down. At the moment I have done 300 thousand kilometres on this model and not a single breakdown, they have never let me down. Friends on winter tyres have problems in the snow and these tyres, whether snow or dry, always manage. I drive a lot and do not want to change them for anything else. I will certainly use the same tyres on my next car. I cannot say a bad word about these tyres. With proper use, they can easily last for 140+ thousand km. I cannot write a bad word about these tyres because it would be a lie. I sincerely recommend them! I will certainly buy them again. kind regards Read more Collapse

The tyre is a superb performer in winter, great on dry and wet surfaces, but there are some asphalt where it can be dangerous, almost like on ice, but I do not think that this is the fault of the tyre but the consistency of the asphalt. It wears out faster than summer rubber, but the tyre's grip on the snow makes up for it, in the winter on roads with frozen asphalt and a little ice, and on top of that fresh snow and an uphill road the tyre loses its grip, in which case a winter tyre would be useful, but overall I drive everywhere and I have never been disappointed and there has never been a situation where I had to put chains on. In my case I would consider buying these tyres again. I recommend Read more Collapse

This is the second time I have replaced these tyres on my wife's car. It is the second time I have replaced these tyres on my wife's car. She drives 5 miles to work every day, mainly on city roads, where there is rarely any snow or ice for more than half a day, and on snow these tyres really perform very well considering their versatility, and on asphalt they are much better than typical winter tyres. I think it is a very good solution for a driver who drives mainly in the city, you save 60 pounds a year on seasonal changes and standing in front of tyre shops. I have never thought that they are better than seasonal tyres, but a normal, calm driver should consider it. Best regards EASY RIDER Read more Collapse

Very good tyres, I have used various Goodyears recently, I don't see much difference (apart from the price). If you're driving a junk with r worn out shocks, it won't help you, and I've read various opinions even about top brands tyres, also unflattering. If someone lacks imagination and drives on ice as on a dry road, they should order a place in a cemetery right away. The only thing I was worried about was the durability, but there is nothing wrong, I have had them for two years. Also the abrasion is a bit higher but that is normal. I am satisfied because the tyres meet my expectations and the price is acceptable. I recommend them to thinking drivers. Read more Collapse

I have this Debica model on the front axle. They are much more better than originally fitted tyres. I had three accidents, always during the rain and old, original tyres fitted. I used also partly worn premium brands like Michelin and I need to say that Navigator 2 is at least the same good. There is no point to buy second hand tyres when you can have new ones for the same price. New tyre is always a new one, I mean that there is no surprises caused by previous user. This tyre model is great for rain, especially in comparison to partly worn ones and mentioned original equipment of my car. I will definitely purchase them once again. Satisfied customer. I bought the tyres at the end of the summer for my audi at 1400kg, I paid £150 for a set and put them on alloys. I can tell you that it was a great purchase, the tyre works great on any surface, and the best on bends! It is hard to put the car sideways on these tyres, and those who say that all-season tyres are useless are wrong. It is better to have all-season tyres, which are suitable for driving in all conditions, than to delay the change from winter to summer tyres. If winter comes, you don't have to worry about it. The only disadvantage is that they have large grooves, and mud accumulates in them, which of course falls off on your driveway Read more Collapse

I can say that this tyre model can handle pretty much every weather conditions. I used them for whole year with no problems at all. They perfomr good during hot summer days and winter weather and roads condition, slush and snow, are not any difficultie too. I do not know how they work for higher speeds but for calm driving they are more than enough. However, there is one big disadvantage. Really high noise. It is the only reason why I will not buy them again probably. It is important for me to have quiet tyres because I do longer distances quite often. Recommended for everyone who wants to safe money, have a good product for good price. Read more Collapse

In summer, a large increase in fuel consumption and quite noisy until the tread wears off a little which can be annoying but they grip the road very well and are comfortable to drive on, in winter they never failed me on a slippery snowy road, when they are new in winter they perform very well.I recommend to buy them before or during the winter, and for two years they are good and safe to drive on, if you want to buy them in the spring, buy summer tires, because the tread will be worn down all year round, and in winter they will be bald, and it will be harder to drive in the second winter season, assuming that you do 15000 miles a year. put on wife's car, only 300 miles a month, super comfortable solution, no changing wheels, just checking pressure, acceptable handling in all conditions, in winter better than you might think, I was surprised at the traction in the snow. For thrifty people and people who don't drive much you won't find a better deal. Selling the car after 3 years, the new owner was delighted with the amount of tread (still about 7mm). I will also buy the same tyre for my wife's new car. For the Ford Fusion, I used a bit too big size 195/65 instead of 195/60 but it didn't make any difference. After all, it is almost an off-road vehicle :) Read more Collapse

Superb tyres. Last winter they passed the test in the worst conditions. In a snowstorm, in slush, they were great. I have not slipped on them once. Worse on ice. Here, they don't perform very well, and certainly typical winter tyres perform better. But... I only had to drive in these conditions once last year, and I drive every day. So I don't think it's worth the money for winter tyres just for that one day. Apart from that, winter tyres have a huge advantage - they are always on. At the first snow or ice, when the majority of people are still on summer tyres and are having a moment of terror, we are on safe tyres. Read more Collapse

I was not sure what to think about all season tyres. Finally I decided to buy set of Debica Navigator 2. I am happy with them. Winter season, which is the main factor for all weather tyre, was not a problem. Winter in the city, worth to mention. The main thing which they had to handle was slush and rain from time to time. In summer you can hear them more but it is ok for city traffic anyway. Tyre recommeded for most drivers. Great for city, good price, easily can do the job of summer and winter model. Of course, it is only about cities. I do not know how they would handle some extre winter weather conditions. Read more Collapse

The tyre is ideal for other tyres I could not brake in the winter, if it's off-road there is simply no better tyre, I drive in severe conditions where others are stuck and I do not accelerate, the best tyre because it disperses mud perfectly! With my mileage and sometimes 1000km for 2-3 days on the road, abrasion is ok! It lasts 4 years! In conclusion, the best in winter, the best in the wet, the best on the road, the best tyre, there is no better! Do not buy other tyres like Pirelli they are rubbish You pay for the brand and not for the tyre. With my power on my tyres I can overtake others on pirellis!!! Read more Collapse

A purchase out of necessity (a misalignment in a purchased car and front tyres had to be replaced...), out of reason (price + all-season) and partly out of habit (in my previous CC 700 I had Navigators 1 135/70 R13). The tyres perform correctly. I did not have the opportunity to test them on the snow for quite a long time as there wasn't much snow this winter where I live. I recommend them to those who are not convinced that only winter tyres should be used in winter. There are no good or good-enough tyres on slightly wet and snow-covered ice - no tyre will hold on to such a surface anyway Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres in August and therefore decided to buy all-season tyres, as winter was ahead so I figured they would still be good... and I was pleasantly surprised. I drive a lot in and out of town, especially on long distances, and I had the opportunity to test them in the snow in the mountains. I recommend these tyres as they are a good choice, and no tyre is really any good on ice. I bought a second car and the driving style is definitely the same but the tyres are definitely the same, just a different size, because the car is different. I really recommend these tyres! As the winter season was approaching and I only had summer tyres, something had to be done. I bought navigator 2 tyres for the winter, as my mechanic told me. I have driven around 50,000 km on them. What can I say. The tyres are very durable and long lasting. Low rolling resistance which results in savings. Noticeable in my case. The tyres are very good for their price, but there is one main point to bear in mind: they do not brake in the wet. Just a small amount of water on the road and they have no grip at all. All-season tyre. For speeds up to 130 km/h. At the expense of reduced grip on bends, the tyre performs well in all weather conditions, including winter. Leaving the tunnel in a downpour does not cause slipping. The transition between static and dynamic friction is almost as good as a genuine winter tyre. However, it does not perform well on clean ice - but you can put chains on after all. Doesn't wear out in hot weather, so no need to change to summer/winter. Lasts for 40,000 miles or more. When tread depth is too low, aquaplaning clearly occurs at speeds below 70 mph Read more Collapse

I have two of them fitted on rear axle. Initially they were fitted on the fron axle, during the winter season, and I have to say that they were not worst at all than winter tyres which were fitted too. Same thing with summer tyres, no difference. I am very pleased with them in general. Traction and grip are great. It is hard to lose control of the vehicle, does not matter if the road is dry or wet. No problems with slush too. I would say that manufacturer description is true. Recommended for anyonwe who wants to buy good tyres and do not pay to much. Read more Collapse

The tyres are great! I am a user who does not like to pay a lot and I do not feel like changing my tyres twice a year. This is why I bought the NAVIGATOR 2. They work well in the dry, although they have a slightly longer braking distance than summer tyres. But on a wet road it's fabulous. They grip wet pavement very well, even in a downpour, and they disperse water very well. They also perform very well in winter. My colleagues have Barums, which unfortunately they do not cope, and the Navigators always manage in deep snow or fresh snow. Read more Collapse

I don't know to much about tyres. Good tyre in my opinion is cheap and has nice tread pattern. I do not understand difference between premium and economic brands. For first year or two I consider them as winter ones. After that I use them only in summer and I buy set of new and the same tyres. What would be comment from more advanced drivers? First month or two were ok but after this time it started to gets worst and worst. Thing is about wet roads and then winter weather. I was absolutely not sure how my car will act on the road. Hard to say that Debica gives sens of security and confidence to a driver. I had a puncture so I was kind of forced to buy at leat two new tyres. I decided to go for Debica Navigator 2 because they were cheap, all weather type and recommended by many users. Unfortunatelly, I disagree with all those good opinions. They are too noisy for me, grip is not the best and keeps getting worst with every mile. Driving during summer is hard. Tyres are really soft and it is difficult to keep the vehicle under control. Forget about speed driving. Braking could be better. Probably I will never use them again. Read more Collapse

They surprised me very positively. At first, I put them on the rear, because in the front I put on a little used Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-02. But after a few uncontrolled slips even on almost dry pavement, I put the Navigator 2 on the front and it is great. (And Bridgestone is said to be great:). They cut through 15 cm of fresh snow nicely, you can also feel the contact with the ground when driving on puddles (better than the Dunlop Sport d62m in summer). The dunlop sport d62m is a good choice at a low price. Read more Collapse

According to many specialists, all season tyre set is the worst idea. They will tell you that it is basic thing to have two separate sets. I have this particular tyres from like five years and all is fine. In summer they are soft which I like because driving comfort is little bit higher. They could be better on wet roads but all what driver needs to do is to reduce speed and there is no problems. Good enough on slush and snow. The tyre is great for quiet driving on dry roads, but on wet roads it is very unreliable. After 15 000 miles it squeaks at every bend, as well as when starting, even not very fast. As a consolation, I can add that these are my third all-season tyres (I used Godyear Vector 3 and 5) and subjectively I think they are very similar. The advantage of the tyres is the price, but after my experience I would advise you to buy summer tyres for summer and winter for winter.Regards Read more Collapse

I opted for the full-year tires when looked me in the eye spectrum buy 2 sets in one year and I must admit that I do not regret the decision. Unfortunately there was no winter this year, so hard for me to assess their functionality in conditions typical of winter, but I am convinced that in winter and quietly give advice on the set of a reasonable driver. For a small and not very fast car to drive mostly in the city I can definitely recommend it. You just have to accept the fact that these tires generate more noise but compared to a summer tire or winter - but the tragedy certainly is not. Read more Collapse

tyres generally very good, a little worse on the wet asphalt, the snow great, I rode in a forest road was leading powdery snow and a snowman on the front of the hood height of the mud also pretty good, much better than the D-124 and navigators 1 at the start on the wet asphalt a little running back, you have to operate the gas in moderation, well Hamui the wet too. pity that there is no size 185/60R15 because I started to meganki. recommended for normal driving. wyważałem them only on the assumption and went a long time without any vibration even at speeds of 120 - 140 km / h times faster. I'm happy with the tyres behave well on both dry and snowy tarmac. I ride to work in the winter roads the second and third categories and tyres were doing great. Behaved much better than the brand name used tyres. The only caveat I have is that a tyre defect, that beats at a speed of over 120 km / h I could advertise this tyre, but I have stayed with the car stuck to the time the complaint and have to buy either a set of used tyres to one axle or the purchase of a single tyre. Online sellers should better check the goods it sends to customers because it exposes additional costs. Read more Collapse

The first 500 to 1000 km took the tyre alignment. During this period it was dull but now it hundereds well. Good grip in the wet is doing well also AIW winter without problems. The look is much better than HANOOK 185x70x14 and even a better tyre than the stimulant HANOOK KLEBBER or any stimulants, and those already nawymieniałem and troubles during the winter as there was a lot. Now a new. The price is very good for this class and for the tyres and brand new with wielosezon cycuszkami ;). After 8 months of driving you do not see major losses on the tyre treads. I fit perfectly. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought tyres after using the previous Vredesteinów (which, moreover, flew from snowy roads, so do not buy those already). At the beginning I had a lot of suspicion about the quality, but suited perfectly for the time being. Dry and wet road surface - very decent, low noise (if at all). Rozjeżdżony snow - quite well, I did not have no right to push, always emigrated, even as 7cm-layer. On the ice so that it does not even do very well, I had to be careful, but no they are not, after all tyres to drive on ice. Already the second season of use, and I think I will be using next. Opinion from outside the UK

After three months of driving, chewing on these, I can not say anything that would put the tyres in a bad light. Before buying, I read "the local" opinion and a little wymiękałem that penetration. Nothing like this has not happened. I'm surprised at some of the qualities mile which I did not expect at all, namely, minimal rolling resistance which is very good, they are very quiet, well and do well in the snow. I drove up to now many cars with many different tyres and certainly not categorize these tyres to those which can be much criticized, on the contrary! Read more Collapse
