Continental VancoFourSeason 2

Continental VancoFourSeason 2 is a premium (high quality) all-season tyre. Continental's VancoFourSeason 2 offers a very long service life, safe driving in mud and snow, as well as resistance to low temperatures. The tyre performs equally well on wet and dry roads. It provides superior driving comfort and excellent water evacuation.

Continental VancoFourSeason 2 is the successor of VancoFourSeason. Its tread design has been designed to provide safe and comfortable driving both in summer and winter season. Tread blocks have 'zig-zag' sipe incisions. They provide the tyre with adequate traction on slippery and wet roads, even when transporting heavy loads. Three straight circumferential channels are connected with numerous side grooves. This kind of shape ensures efficient evacuation of water and slush. The optimal shape of edges on tread blocks of Continental VancoFourSeason 2 effectively reduces the risk of aquaplaning. Powerful peripheral ribs are responsible for proper manoeuvrability. They precisely transfer commands from the steering wheel to the road. Solid blocks in the shoulder area make the driving smooth and steady. Continental VancoFourSeason 2 has a flat contour belt. It increases the contact area between the tyre and the road. Continental VancoFourSeason 2 has better grip and lower rolling resistance. Well-shaped grooves reduce vibration and noise generated during the rolling movement. This provides high acoustic comfort and more enjoyable driving. Especially important for the commercial user is the economic aspect. Continental VancoFourSeason 2 is extremely durable. Its tread wears slowly and evenly. Moreover, there are no costs related to the seasonal tyre change, as this model is all-season tyre, which may be used all year-round.

Continental VancoFourSeason 2 is an all-season tyre for commercial vehicles and mini-buses. Its proper tread design guarantees a high level of safety. Please note, however, that this is not a typical winter tyre. It is very good in mild winter conditions, but on extreme icy and snowy roads, you must be very careful.

Logo Continental

Continental was the first manufacturer in history to conduct a professional winter tyre test. In 1953, test cars fitted with the first winter tyres from this brand reached the altitude of 2112m on the alpine St Gotthard Pass. The company owns other brands, including Semperit, Barum, General Tire, Uniroyal and Viking. The company was founded in 1871. Initially, in addition to tyres for cars and bicycles, it produced waterproof fabrics, shoes, balls and toys.

The Continental VancoFourSeason came with the ducato and I can't be happier. I drive all around Western Australia on all kinds of roads in temps from 5 to 50deg celcius. Through rotation I have now got 105000kms on original tyres. need to replace the front ones now and the rears in 10k. They handle well at all speeds and brake very well. I carry a constant load of about 500kgs at all times. Been on rough asphalt and dirt with no complaints. The only downside is that I haven't been able to find anyone yet that can supply these tyres to me here in Perth. I may have to go with the Vanco standard ones, hope they are just as good. So, yes I believe the FourSeason tyre to be superior but to be fair I have not tried any other brand. I know other vans who have got a lot less kms on diff brands. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

For a long time I wondered over the choice of tyres for my lorry. When I saw these tyres on site Oponeo.co.uk immediately fell into my eyes and realized that it is more profitable to buy tyres multigrade than a separate set of separate winter and summer. The first impression when a courier delivered them to me was pretty cool. But after the founding of the car I did not have any doubt. I knew that I chose the best possible tyres in its price class. I'm very happy. Practically while driving the tyres are completely silent. Very good job of floor space on both dry and wet. I can't also tell a bad word about driving in the snow because the tyre also seems to work perfectly. We would recommend! Read more Collapse
