I am very disappointed. I bought them for the second time because they were the best tyres that I ever had. I weared them in my Subaru Impreza Wrx STi (4x4, 320HP/520Nm) - my car sticked to the tarmac realy well. I have tested them on air fields during rain, between cones etc They were just briliant. Today, few years later I put the same tyres in the same size to my Mercedes E350 CDi Coupe (RWD, 231HP/540Nm) and it turned out that they cannot transfer the torque to the tarmac. I've tested them on asphalt... I heated them to over 50C degrees and it was the same. My car skids every time when I put the pedal to the metal. My ESP turns on as well. Don't recommend.

I've already used second set of ContiSportContact3 in my Passat B6 170HP TDI CR. I had them since they were new and I have to addmit that they are just splendid. Both sets I used to the usage indicator. Very good tire for agressive style of driving as well as for calm driving. Brilliant on wet and dry tarmac. Perfect water draining. You can almost feel the optimal temperature on dry tarmac. At high speed of 150MPH my car feels to handle pretty confident. Thanks to the sport tread the rolling resistance is really low and they are silent. I've tested them on snow as well. They behave good, but winter is not their purpouse.I drove over 20k miles on one set.

It's a shame these are discontinued, they came standard on my 197 and I managed to grab another set before they were taken off sale. They've done 2 track days, numerous fast winding road drives, my commute and general pottering around and they still have plenty of life left. They've got brilliant dry grip and the breakaway at speed is very progressive, letting you anticipate and correct oversteer. They do under steer like a b**** when it's wet and you're pressing on through increasingly tight bends or chicanes. All in, I'd have them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a general all rounder with emphasis on fast dry driving.

Altough these tyres were ok in the beginning, later on they got feathered. My car is pretty powerfull. In addition I was using them mainly on German highways - I dont care that the tread is so deep that I can make 10.000 miles more if they started to rumble and they got feathered. It is just scandalous. My VW dealer, where I bought my car with these tyres put on, did not found my complaint and told me that the producer founds it as a natural wear. Now I can buy myself new set of tyres.

I bought these tyres for my BMW 330xd. My car is pretty fast thats why I've chosen ContiSportContact3. They perform very good. They never lost grip on wet road and I have to say that I drive in a pretty agressive manner. They stick to the tarmac like glued while braking and they never squeaked, even when I put the brake pedal down hard. 120-130MPH does not affect the traction at all. The only thing that could be improved is the noise level. They could be a bit more quiet. RECOMMEND!

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
