BFGoodrich ADVANTAGE are summer passenger car tyres designed in professional research centres in the United States. Specialists from the American brand in the medium sector, perfectly understand the needs of today's drivers, who want above all good performance and satisfactory driving comfort. Therefore, their latest project in the ADVANTAGE series has been optimised in three key areas for the user:

Dynamic and smooth ride

It is for this driving style that the modern asymmetrical flat profile tread was created. The wide road contact area ensures very stable handling even at high speeds. The individual blocks distribute the pressures well over the entire tread surface, so that the car behaves predictably on each section of the route. Dynamic driving is also supported by a new rubber compound Handling plus, tested on a professional racetrack in Ladoux. Compared to the previous generation, the results turned out to be better on the wet track by 2%, which is a noticeable difference when driving faster.

Economics and longer mileage

Although the tyre was designed for fast driving, another important aspect, the economy of travel, was not overlooked either. Thanks to a unique self-locking tread developed by American designers, the tyre reduces rolling resistance. Not only does this have a positive effect on the driving experience, but above all it reduces fuel consumption. At the same time, the mixture is very durable and sufficiently rigid, offering long mileage and regular wear.

Precision and safety

During tests conducted by the Michelin Group in Ladoux, the BFGoodrich ADVANTAGE model also stood out in terms of controlling the car on different types of surfaces. Including the most important braking categories for driver and passenger safety:

• braking on wet roads was even 2.4 m shorter compared to the previous model generation

• braking on dry roads was reduced by 1.5 m in comparison with the BFGoodrich g-Grip model
