Technology description: Vredestein Ultrac Satin is a model designed for SUVs and upper class cars. The model appeared on the market as the successor to the Ultrac Cento tyre. Modern technology developed by the research and development department of Apollo, was used for its production. The appearance of the tyre was designed by the Italian Studio, Giugiaro. Vredestein Ultrac Satin tyres meet the expectations of the most demanding customers .
The tyres offer excellent grip on various types of surfaces, low fuel consumption and comfort . For the construction of the Vredestein Ultrac Satin, a special resin was used for the tyres and in the tread, grooves were placed in Z-shaped sipes. These components increase grip, driving precision and steering.
The improvements in the tread, belt and rim, introduced by Apollo Vredestein engineers, affect the reduction of rolling resistance. The result is not only maximum safety, but also, economic driving .
Compared to its predecessor, the Ultrac Cento model offers 3.3 meters shorter braking distance from 50 mph, 12% better grip in dry conditions, 10% better grip on wet roads, increased driving comfort and reduced rolling resistance.
