Scale of scores: Highest lowest

MS Plus 77 is a great choice for the winter. It is suitable for any type of vehicle driving on snowy and icy roads. Uniroyal is famous for their superb rain tyres and this is no exception. The MS Plus 77’s special tread design ensures a safe and comfortable ride in difficult conditions. This middle-class tyre offers good quality at an affordable price.

Driving: safer journeys on wet roads

The special rubber compound has been enriched with silica and was developed specifically for wet, snowy and icy winter conditions. The compound supports the rigid shoulder blocks which help maintain lateral stability when cornering. As a result, the adhesion of the car is improved and driving becomes more pleasant.

schemat ochrony przed akwaplaningiem

Protection against aquaplaning: reduced risk of aquaplaning

The safety on wet roads is improved due to the increased ground contact patch.

The wide open grooves in the centre and shoulders quickly clear water to offer better protection against aquaplaning.

schemat przyczepnoci opony na mokrej nawierzchni

Grip: short braking distance and vivid improvement of grip in wet conditions.

MS Plus 77 is a model equipped with a large number of thin grooves with tiny bumpers. This holds the cavity open, so that more water can flow through. This, in turn, means more water is removed from the road’s surface and the traction and braking performance is enhanced. The manoeuvrability of the car and the comfort of drive, even during a dynamic ride, becomes much more efficient.

Manufacturer Info:

Since1979, the owner of the brand has become the German group, Continental.. Following the merger, Uniroyal also tried their hand in the production of off-road tyres. In 1992, they launched the first tyre with a directional tread pattern which worked well in wet conditions. The tyre allowed water to be easily displaced, reducing the risk of aquaplaning . In later years, Uniroyal had many new projects which were not only popular among drivers, but also successful in professional tyre tests.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I ordered Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyres for the car with my girlfriend one flagship criterion: that they are safe. She is an inexperienced driver, because she has her driver’s license is only for a year, and the car does not even have ABS. So I wanted to buy her best winter tyres as much as possible, especially in difficult conditions - on snow and on wet roads. The silence was an additional criterion, and did not take into account the others. Settled in this price category, the final decision came on Firestone Winterhawk 3 and Uniroyal won because of the constant traction on wet and my personal experience with last year when I bought Rainexperts 3 for the other vehicle. I was not disappointed. Uniroyal MS Plus 77 meet the criteria perfectly and I am very glad that it was not worth to overpay for the premium brands. As for water, it is drained quickly from the tread. Generally, in such conditions, these tyres provide a very high sense of security, as in opposition to Debica Frigo 2. Also in the snow MS Pros reveal that actually should be eligible for the top shelf. Also, for scientific purposes I increased speed on the snow surface from the usual 50 km / h in built-up areas to just over 100, and the car behaved very confident there were no uncertain movements. The fresh snow does not tear grip - you can start with the ones normally, without immediately throwing two. For dry - as for dry - normally, but then you could feel that the tyres are soft because the car slightly swam in the corners. The thing that caught my attention after fitting these tyres was silence in the cabin. Apparently they are classified as typical winter tyres, but I thought in the face of such good performance car will burn more than in summer, and it was so. To sum up - I would recommend Uniroyal MS Plus 77 with a clear conscience. Read more Collapse

Let me start by saying that somehow used Uniroyal MS Plus 77 from mid-November 2014 on Skoda Felicia Combi 1.6 steel wheels, diameter 13. After reading reviews and asking friends who use Uniroyal decided to buy these tires. I was not disappointed :) I drive mostly in the city and sometimes on the route. My style is moderate. I changed from winter barum and Debica on these tyres and I do not know what it is slipping or tipping the corners. I drive a car with two small children and I have no concerns with driving over 100km / h. Sticks to the asphalt as if they were made of plasticine, turns at a speed of 80-90km for them are no problem and did not hear any squeaking. In the wet sensational also, it’s hard to fall out the car when cornering. The winter was quite weak this year but no problem I set off my Skoda through the snowdrifts and I had no problem to drive and park where there was snow over the bumper. Great disperse of water and snow. In slush also ideally hold the ground. This car pulled out of the BMW, Opel cars, VW and there was no question of any slip. Tyre just bites into the snow. I cannot judge because I had a short drive but I had a couple of heavy braking situations (car without abs), and I noticed that they were worn down somewhere or beat the wheel while driving. They were noisy only for the first week until I did not work, now I cannot hear Uniroyal MS Plus 77 at all. Driving comfort is superb, perfectly suppress inequalities as I had a shock with a double jump :) The middle class tyres and definitely recommend them. Now I will buy summer and certainly I will choose the Uniroyals :) Read more Collapse

Hello, my girlfriend uses Uniroyal MS Plus 77 to commute to work but I did not refuse myself the pleasure to test them my own way. I am the driver with the course of 1 million miles so I can say something. Generally tyres have nice look, although produced in Romania but do not be scared, the tyres are of high quality. The first impression on the assumption that they are very soft - but as they should be or not to be confused. They are soft when traversing holes or cobblestones. Super suppress inequality. Unfortunately, Uniroyal MS Plus 77 are also quite loud (but not terribly). Noise can be heard when driving at almost any speed. They have a very good lateral support and then hear how the tread want to bite into the asphalt. The same is true for the super lateral wet. As for drainage, all is ok but I will not darkened not ridden them in large pools so cannot comment but I believe that it is very good because it generally goes on wet and after entering into a little puddle literally hear how evacuate water. Overall, for the money I recommend!!! They are great. Read more Collapse

The first winter on Uniroyal MS Plus 77. This previous Goodyear 4season were without comparison in favor of Uniroyal. In the wet, and this within a year we have the most in the UK - very good, as far as braking and lateral support is great, it is a bit worse traction. Sometimes it starts to break traction on wet roads. The snow was not enough, but the tire in urban traffic is doing extremely well. Very wide channels in the tread provide excellent drainage of water, mud and loose snow. The noise level is reasonable, it is a winter tyre, so there will be well;) On a dry surface, especially on sharp curves checked support and I am impressed. It has indeed very soft side and the car is put aside (heavily tilted), but the tyre will not let go :) Very soft is a combination, in addition to the huge amount of different types of sipes :) As winter tyre Uniroyal MS Plus 77 has met all my expectations, I do not drive slowly, I am a rally driver and have speed in my blood;) I recommend, great value and an even better product. For several seasons I was looking for winter tyres with really reasonable price. The decision which one to choose appeared on the beautiful winter evening. Winter Dęebica lost contact with the floor and had to return the car for not cheap repair. I have tested several brands and frankly Fiat Panda on snowy surface was sliding like a sleigh. For this season I decided to look for tyres on Oponeo came with the help with lots of comments and tests and accurately described the tyres. A few hours of viewing parameters, and opinion has paid off. The choice fell on the Uniroyal MS Plus 77. Tires have already gone through the baptism of fire and I can safely say that it is precisely this level of security and confidence in the conduct of which I meant. The car sticks on to the road like glue. No matter whether the water is on the street, snow or mud P.S. tyres keep the car as if it was going after dry. According to me unrivalled winter tyre. The ratio of price / quality = 10/10. I highly recommend Uniroyal MS Plus 77! Read more Collapse

After a good driving impressions from last season on MS Plus 6 (2 pcs) I bought another 2 Uniroyal MS Plus 77. The first thing that catches the eye is the appearance. The tread pattern is very different from other winter tyres - dynamic and sporty. Most important, however, are its properties. Although this winter there was not much snow, ice and mud, it still managed to be tested in such conditions. Drains very well. When parking in soft snow there is no problem with acceleration. On the ice it is known that only the spikes or chains will help, but driving with caution, we have some sort of control over the car. Mud and wet snow flocking to the sides and the tyres do not fall too easily into slides. In dry conditions it is difficult to move with a squeal, as well the tyre grips on the road surface. The same is when braking. I had the opportunity to emergency brake and the tyres did a great job. Uses on the front tyres (drive). Overall I would recommend Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyres, as well as MS Plus 6. Read more Collapse

At first I wondered what is was going on with the car, but it is (apparently)normal for everyone who is using the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 winter tyre first time. The tyres are soft and you can feel it in the beginning, but after the first 60miles you can get used to it.The tyres looks very cool, they are relatively quiet, cool disperse water and stick to the road. The tread pattern looks not that aggressive, but its cutting snow like crazy! The tyre is very soft and snow is discharged immediately. The mud did not stick - some wild forest and meadow paths did not worry me. It is a predator comparing to other tyres!. Although the snow this year wasnt heavy, there were more in Egypt and other sunny countries so I can write two words about abrasion: its disappearing so slowly that somehow I do not see the difference between the new one and old one. I would highly recommend the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre. Read more Collapse

Although the distance travelled is not large (2500 km), I can say that Uniroyal MS Plus 77 are really good tyres. On dry without comment, sharp braking and moving off does not breaking traction, ESP does not intervene (size 205/55 R16). There are definitely louder than Continentals ContiPremiumContact 2, but it’s obvious. On wet doing very well, I have to compare to RainExperts and are only slightly weaker (at the end of winter tyres), but there is a big difference. Even in considerable ruts filled with water can whisk. Probably the herringbone tread are better in the wet than those Continentals. On snow and slush had a chance to check it, but I hope that I will not have problems. Rolling resistance compared to the summer probably lower, but there is not much difference. Really good tyres, I had Uniroyal RainExpert before, and I was also very pleased with them. Recommend Uniroyal MS Plus 77! Read more Collapse

I have the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 for a few months and Im very happy. Very good value for money. Good cornering although you have to get used to the soft tyres. The first impression is quite deceptive because the tyre feels very soft but is very stable and predictable in their behavior. These are directional tyres so their lead in the wet is good as in the snow or slush. The tyre due to a mix of rubber and inequality dampens well at moderate speeds (up to 60mph) is quiet but above 60mph the noise from the tyres leaves a bit to be desired. When it comes to rolling resistance and fuel consumption ... with temperatures around -5 to 0 degrees noticed a slight decrease in fuel consumption which is confirmed by the fact that at higher temperature (more tire sticks to the road and has a higher resistance). In conclusion I would recommend the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyres to everyone. Read more Collapse

Today started, first impression heaven, comparing to the old one which was no good at all. Noise volume - quiet in the car up to speed 60mph Balance - there was no problem at all ,I was driving back home from work in the rain (20miles) I do not sensed aquaplaning,I could hear the noise of the water hitting the wheel arches but the grip maintained at all times at speed of about 50mph so according to the manufacturer -the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre drains water very well, taking into account that the Uniroyal MS Pluss 77 is a winter tyre, If you dont belive what the manufacturer says, check up the ADAC tests (4th place in the test - this product ahead of other more expensive products) I was very pleased after just first day of using the Uniroyal MS Plus 77. I already use Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre for two years. I bought a set and I am surprised. As for the drainage of water, slush perfect road holding. Test starting at the traffic lights at the top seems sensational, no slip. Feel comfortable on the steering wheel, the car runs stably. My other car had Dunlops and when it was worse than Uniroyal. Dunlop caught the slip. It looks a little different in dry conditions. The tyre has excellent grip, cornering keeps sensational, but has a higher rolling resistance. I feel I need to add more gas. Unfortunately, something for something. Adhesion sensational but much slows the car. As for the tyre of this class attrition within the normal range. I would recommend Uniroyal MS Plus 77 because it’s safe in winter on snow and wet roads and is more important than whether I will burn 0.5 liters more fuel. Read more Collapse

Tyres like tyres, very difficult to subjectively assess. Everyone hears what he wants to hear, and only the owner can assess the tyres according to his own criteria - after all, everyone drives differently. I prefer rather smooth and fast driving style. With such use of the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre car performed very well. Of course, the width of the tyre affects the behavior on a very slippery surface, but you can also instruct the snow and mud. The appearance of the tyre is very professional, but does not affect its behavior on the road, so Im skipping this description. The tyre is dedicated to the wet road conditions, and in fact the rain is doing well and is not overly prone to aquaplaning. Overall I would recommend the tyre, it is difficult to find such a versatile winter tyre at the right price and the right size. Read more Collapse

I bought Uniroyal MS Plus 77 at the end of last winter, but I had too many opportunities to test them. This year, though much it was late winter, the roads were covered with ice, and I had the pleasure to ride in such conditions. My escort 115HP and 175 narrow tyres, but their confidence even surprised me. Several times on one route between the villages, which was icy and where everyone rode up to 60km / h I would have no problem, I drove 90-100 km / h and felt 100% confident in my small car. Lying snow is also not the terrible. When I beat the wet corners with limited confidence in the tyres, but it was due to their size. On a dry sticks perfectly. I was really positively surprised. I would recommend Uniroyal MS Plus 77 to the undecided. They roar like every winter tires, the escort is not a well soundproofed car ;) Read more Collapse

I bought the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyres for BMW E39 530i .I made my mind after reading reviews and opinions about its antecedent (MS plus 66). Since it is better I decided to buy it. I started with the rear tyres. In the front I have a Continental 830P. Impressions: very soft rubber so because of this great grip, traction control does not light up but the temperature of +8, +10 degrees has the impression that the car excessively swings and floats on the corners. When the temperature drops the swimming impression persists. Driving on the wet is OK. There is no snow yet but the driving on Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre should also be good because of the soft rubber and the tread. Balancing - trouble free, very quiet tyre. For normal driving style the tyre is great. For the front I will also buy Uniroyal MS Plus 77 for sure. Read more Collapse

If anyone is looking for winter tyres in the size 145/70 R13 these are in my opinion the best! No. 1 on the market and no other in this size is able to beat them! You can find slightly more expensive models, but their driving characteristics are way different from this model. For a very long time I wasn’t so happy with this purchase as now. To find the perfect tyre in this class I spent a lot of time doing my research, reading opinions, forums. I believe only Uniroyal MD Plus 77 passed exam really well. I know, Nokians are better, but they don’t make them in this size, so don’t waste your time searching in size 145/70 R13 there. There is nothing better, so save yourself the search and buy cheap Uniroyals because it is worth it. I am writing it as a user of these tyres and the winters in my area are snowy :) Read more Collapse

I have an old car and buying tyres for it I was really difficult. I was interested only with a budget brands. However, when I saw the results of the MS77 Plus tyres in tests and its price - not much higher than the budget class, I decided to buy Uniroyals. I do not regret the choice! The tyres are excellent on the wet road, I did not have much opportunity to test in the snow, but I noticed that it is very fine. I have a direct comparison to the summer Savy and Uniroyal tyres and is practically in each category much better, even when it comes to grip on the dry road, where kind of summer should be better. Massive combustion difference - 0.5l at 100km less than Savy. Due to the fact that the car does not have ABS and it is very light clearly I see every defect of the tyres they practically do not have any. Read more Collapse

I’m not an expert, just a regular user of the tires. I arrive to work after 75km one way. On Polish roads with ruts and holes in winter tyres Uniroyal MS Plus 77 were great. Winter was what everyone has seen, but just for the winter I bought them. I noted no increased noise, the difference in combustion compared with summer tires also do not. I got the impression that the tyre very well grips with a thin layer of water, slush or snow. We attended a few trips to the mountains and the snow, whether fresh or beaten, car went crazy. After changing tyres for the summer have not noticed any signs of wear which may indicate a fairly good stability. In summary, both me and my wife drove very comfortably and safely - no matter whether we drove out of town or in the city. I highly recommend. Read more Collapse

Briefly: I’ve has Hankook, Dunlop, Dębica Frigo 2 and Nokian. Generally, each of them isn’t bad, but I returned to Uniroyal – both for summer and winter. Recent hopes I’ve pinned deep in Nokians, but unfortunately these are the tyres that require concentration, because in the traffic situations they’ve surprised me (sudden braking on wet surfaces). I have recently bought Uniroyal (for the third time is total) and now I know that when it comes to braking, both summer and winter tyres are fantastic. ABS barely budge (bothering to note that tyres we generally write about are from the budget class). I agree that Uniroyal are quite soft, and their consumption is faster so they last 2-3 seasons, but the comfort of driving for this price is really sensational. Read more Collapse

After driving three seasons with the predecessors, the MS Plus 66, I thought that the MS Plus 77 can be only better. Unfortunately, I regret this purchase. I have Seat Leon and I drive rather rapidly in the city. Also I often do trips to the mountains. The tyres didn’t give me the sense of security on the snow, and I feel I have more self control than on wet roads on the 66 version. Negative would be the noise and falling easily into a skid. Maybe others are happy about that but if someone goes fast and wants to have a sense of security (I travel with my family) is unfortunately not recommend. Shame as I was really pleased with the MS Plus 66. I will add that I am making about 20000 miles per year andI’ve already used many different winter tyres. Read more Collapse

On these tyres the car sticks to the road like covered in glue in all conditions. Had them for a few months now and set up more than 3,000 miles – no signs of wear. The ride is very comfortable with these tyres on my 1.3cdti Corsa c and noise is very low but on rough roads bumps can be felt a little more because of flexible walls of the tyre. But it’s a small price to pay for tyre that you know stop you dead when you press your brakes in all driving conditions. The price is very good to use first Uniroyal tyres. For me no other brand exists now. Can not recommend enough. Uniroyal will be the only tyre for me from now on. Generally tyre works with calm and not aggresive driving style. In contrast, our winters are often almost snowless, with temperatures quickly rising and then both, with braking and traction the tyre easily lose contact with the ground (nominally 97 engine horsepower but with LPG so not very powerful). On the road or in the city the tyre did not disappoint me, however, they are not perfect. If there is a little bit of water on the road, the tyre becomes unbearably loud - before I had winter tyres Firestone and Yokohama and the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 is definitely not as good as the others. On trips above 100-150miles becouse of the noise you can get a headache. I will not buy them next time - because of the noise, the rest is at least acceptable. Read more Collapse

Tyres on my car perform well although could have been a little bit quieter. On the snow they go well, although in a large slush you need to loosen the reins a little bit. In dry conditions during braking, I was pleasantly surprised with the power of stopping (when forest creatures were crossing the road) - tyres almost melt into the asphalt. I noticed a little bigger fuel consumption. On the previous tyres I’ve had it wasn’t so significant – but also at the gas stations I’m not totally sure how much fuel I pour in as for the last two years I see that I pour more and more fuel. 47l when the control light doesn’t even lighten up and when I bought this car It was 44l max with the control light on. For the winter I recommend Uniroyal tyres. Read more Collapse

Despite the lack of winter this year, a few days in the aura of winter allowed the conclusion that the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyres behave properly in the snow. Very good braking, there is no wheel slip when starting. Tyres behave very well in the wet, its easy to control the car. Emergency braking on a wet surface in front of the dog that ran into the street, forced to reveal the ABS. In general, it is hard to get ABS to operate - very good adhesion and its not soon lose. Draining water from the wheel is exemplary. The tyre is quiet and comfortable in suppressing the vibration, but soft, something for something. Mileage about 8-9 thousand miles, consumption - not noticed any increased. Generally I can recommended the Uniroyal MS Plus 77. Read more Collapse

I went from my old model of tyres to completely new Uniroyal MS Plus 77 and after several thousand kilometres driving in towns and on motorways I can say that I’ve chosen the best tyre I could. Out of the budget class tyres for small cars with not powerful engines you cannot find any better product. The car behaves confidently in cornering, while braking and acceleration. Tyres is really safe even when trying to drive aggressively. Behaviour on wet and snowy surfaces is very good. At motorway speeds also everything’s steady and save. Polish wet road conditions allows you to use their character and feel it in terms of competition. On the wet I feel very confident. For everyday drivers we will not find better tyre for these money. Everyone around saying that for winter the best is the V tread, but I tried it and do not regret it. As always I always had trouble pulling away on the snow and ice but on Uniroyal MS Plus 77 this winter there was no problem and we know how they take care of road services and especially our roads in housing estates. On a wet the tyres are good and when its warm and dry there is no unnecessary whistling. Do not be afraid of new designs, computer-designed patterns are not at all bad, and yet this promotional price at which I bought it its a bargain. Everything is positive. I am writing this even though i had the flat tyre - a arrowhead piece of metal dug up into the tyre and the warranty for that one is gone. Read more Collapse

Tyres used mainly in the city. They’re doing very well on wet roads, mud-covered residential streets and snow. The car without any problems emerging from a garage, even as the show on the driveway was not shoveled and sprinkled with sand. As far as the slush on the road it’s hard for me to say anythisng because due to the mild winter, I hadn’t had the opportunity to properly test the tyres. I’ve never had any problem with the car when the temperature is around 0 degrees, the road looks dry but in fact in some places is covered with thin layer of ice. I did not notice an increase for combustion when compared to summer tyres (Hankook Kinergy eco K425 C, C, 70 dB). Overall, I would recommend this tyre. Read more Collapse

I was looking for tyres that can cope with Polish conditions during winter where most of the days the roads are wet or covered in mud after snowy periods of time and this tyre is better than good! Uniroyals are brilliant on wet, and I've considered this parameter to be the most important after changing from Dębica directional frigo2 which was tragic in these conditions. The tyres are also quite good in the snow and stable on dry roads as for winter tyres very quiet even with the highway speeds. Tyres do not surprise you with any unusual behavior so I feel safe with them on my wheels. In summary, I think I have found the golden mean which with winter tyres is difficult. Read more Collapse

For the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 I have switched from the Goodyears Ultragrip 7, which I still think are sensational tyres for snow.Rating of the tyre: Quiet, small rolling resistance - I have not noticed excessive noise or increased fuel consumption compared to summer tyres. The Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyres fared very well both in the fresh snow and slush. After the rain I left behind only a cloud of water from puddles . Light aquaplaning at the entrance to a deep puddle, but which tyres do not have that?. Very highly appreciate abrasion of tyres - I drove them over 30 thousand. miles and the tread is still in very good condition.I can highly recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

Moving on snow and ice in the cold is brilliant, highly effective braking - not once caught ABS.Even on snow-covered roads car turns holding up very nicely .In snow ruts car hold on very good. Driving thru the high drifts its not a problem. When driving to the snow-covered top of the hill car behaved very nicely without snow chains. The slush for these tyres do not exist. Unfortunately this winter there were only few days of winter, but the tyre was solidly tested. Well gripped on the snow so it was much harder to distraction the car compared to Kleber tyres that I’ve had previously. Tyre works well at high speeds on the rain. The car is stable and the driving is confident, easy to lead even in the corners. On the other hand, I noticed a higher fuel consumption on the computer by 0.4 litres. I don’t think it could be an effect of the change of temperature as that was on the highway and the winter 14/15 wasn’t too bad. Tyre is louder than my previous summer tyre, but not as noisy as Pirelli that I’ve once had. Read more Collapse

I made about 10 thousand miles on these tyres so I can already tell you what I’ve noticed. Balancing the tyres without any problem. On dry roads, as in most of the tyres, they behave decently. In the wet, in my opinion, the tyres grip to the road really nice, and I’ve experience with lots of deferent brands. I have mixed feelings about the grip on snow and ice though. Under these conditions Uniroyal does great compared with Dębica for example. The consumption could be a little slower, but I admit that I drive rather rapidly. Overall, however, I am satisfied with the tyres, especially because of a really good performance on a wet road. Read more Collapse

Polish winter, that is mostly wet roads and temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius. Most of the winter tyres I had recently cope well in these conditions. I decided to buy the Uniroyal tyres as these are meant to be on rain and it was a hit. On a wet road the car accelerates and decelerates in a confident way. ABS also do not have a lot of work even while fast braking. On fresh snow and slush they were doing very well. The only thing to complain about is that they generate high noise and lower comfort of driving. You can feel inequalities much more than, I would say, on a summer Fulda tyre. The most surprised me how the tyres suppressing inequality! - Revelation!. Tyres behave very well in good conditions as well as in winter conditions . Previously the tyres I had has about one degree better parameter of rolling resistance, and I have to admit that - I can feel that. The distance made on these tyres is around 2,5 thousand miles. Mostly in the city but there were also the highways. Both at the speed 25mph and 110mph these have managed to do well. They passed the exam in the slush, on ice, even uphill. I'll never forget the faces of other drivers as they could not leave the slightly icy hill and were only looking at me in my Octavia on new tyres going up the hill without any problem. I can compare them to previous versions of MS66 and MS6 because we have use them before. In my opinion these tyres are better. First, they are quiet, well behave in the wet and slush. The only complaint we have about the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre is behavior on dry / wet roads, especially in the dry when there is a good grip. Tyres with a sudden change of direction cause a feeling of swimming in the car .. Especially in combination with the sudden breaking (on the previous tyres that not happened- winter Pirellis) With a fairly aggressive driving style is quite bothersome flaw. ESP turns much faster in this situation. Besides, no reservations. Durability of the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 tyre I can finally judge after prolonged use .. Until now I can rate it a 4/6 or average / decent. Read more Collapse

Only thanks to the new MS PLUS 77 I can drive through the snow and mud and uneven icy roads in my area. These are my next tyre from Uniroyal, because for the summer I only use tyres from this manufacturer for the last 4 years and I'm very happy with them. I'm planning to change the other two winter Michelin tyres for the new Uniroyal MS Plus 77 as well and also I may be able to order a set of 4pcs of winter tyres in the size 225/60R17 + steel wheels for my KIA SPORTIGE 2.0 GDI AWD. Tyre Uniroyal series MS is the latest edition. I buy different tyres for plenty of cars. Many times for the same type of car and the size we buy other tyres to compare. In the case of Uniroyal MS Plus 77 I can tell you that the tyre is very good. Quiet comfortable with a fairly aggressive tread. On the snow this winter, which was not much of it they behave very well. On the wet the tyre holds perfectly and when starting and braking too. I can safely recommend this size (205/60R16). I do not know how to behave with a different size and a different car. Sometimes it is different. Read more Collapse

The Uniroyal MS Plus 77 is a great tyre.It works superbly for a long jurneys even with a deep snow. Overtaking trucks in slush with the rear wheel drive without any problems and unwanted surprises. With driving into the puddles on the road - revelation, I did not expect it to be so good. Virtually no impact on the steering wheel. Departure from the parking with a lot of snow and up to the hill without any problems. The only drawback of that tyre is a slight noise on dry roads at higher speed. Generally I can recommend this tyre to everyone. Read more Collapse

Bought these tyres for my Honda saloon following my move to the Scottish Highlands where I was expecting heavy snowfall. Mostly rural driving in my commute to work. These tyres have performed well in deep snow, wet snow and ice as I live in the country and use roads which are often last to be ploughed or gritted. Notably I was able to access my home on an ungrited, untreated road, uphill in 7 inches of snow, where my wife's 4x4 (with normal tyres) really struggled. Well impressed and would recommend these tyres on price and quality. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres a year ago and I'm very happy with them. They are ideal for winter conditions: rain, snow and mud. They were able to manage difficult conditions in mountains in a very heavy snowfall and with the front-axle drive, where many cars couldn't get out. This year I also need to buy a set of tyres for winter and I do not even think about other tyres. I'm going to buy the Uniroyal MS Plus 77 once again. Read more Collapse

Tyres have performed satisfactory for the short duration whilst on the car. I have the summer tyres re-fitted when the the temperatures rise. There doesn't seem to be any reason to spend more on competitors tyres unless you are vain and do most of your talking in the pub! They certainly give you more grip and confidence in slippy conditions, and I would recommend everyone to fit winter tyres during cold months. Read more Collapse

These have proved over the last five winter seasons to be a great choice. For this winter I needed two new fronts. I know the Lupo is low powered but they seem sure footed in wet and cold conditions. Not had lots of snow in the UK these last few years but on the odd days it is funny to watch the high performance vehicles struggle as the Lupo plods along. Read more Collapse

I bought these after reading several reviews and they are living up to expectations. Good grip and handling in the wet (no opportunity to use in snow this year). Only downside was the slight increase in fuel consumption but this was expected after reading the reviews. Read more Collapse

No complaints at all, have tried various brands of winter tyres as a long term BMW owner it becomes a necessity, these have been faultless and are wearing extremely well in what has been a 'mild' winter to date, highly recommended. Read more Collapse
