Uniroyal All Season Expertis an all-season tyre for passenger cars. This middle-class range tyre provides top value for money. The directional tread ensures the best possible performance in wet and typical winter conditions.

Aquaplaning

The directional tread pattern has a wide, longitudinal groove and is responsible for water and slush exclusion. The tyres will protect you from aquaplaning during rain and ensure comfortable handling when driving through puddles.

Grip

More and more European countries are introducing winter tyre obligations, while many drivers use their cars in regions with moderate temperatures, therefore cannot justify changing to seasonal tyres. The solution to this situation is the All Season Expert tyre, marked with both M+S and the mountain/snowflake symbols so, although they are for all year-round use, they qualify as winter tyres.

Wear and Cost of Ownership

To pay for one set of the All Season Expert is an obvious financial incentive, rather than paying for separate summer and winter tyres. Finances, however, is not the only consideration. The seasonal tyres will get spongy after five or six years, even if they have plenty of tread left. The All Season Expert is abrasion-proof and very resistant, due to its rubber compound and guarantees the performance you need up until the tyres' final kilometre.

Ride quality

The directional tread code was originally designed for sports cars. When the tyres demonstrated their excellent grip, and proved easy to control, they began to be fitted to different types of vehicles. The All Season Expert tyre was constructed for even, consistent wear and reduced noise, which provides an increase in driving comfort

Manufacturer Info

Uniroyal, with it’s over 140 years of tradition, specialise in the production of rain tyres. They are classified as middle-class tyres due to their driving comfort, regardless of the weather and prove to be best value for money. Currently, the company belongs to the one of the largest groups in the industry - Continental. The Uniroyal brand offer includes tyres for cars, vans, cars with 4-wheel drive and trucks. Uniroyal tyres are manufactured by using modern technology and enjoy the trust of drivers around the world.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I've put Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert in September and do not regret the choice. Rainy and cold September has shown their power from the very beginning. I previously drove on Passios (they were already fitted on a car) and during September below 15 degrees C they were already slipping away on curves - not to mention they were rather loud. The difference was very significant: silence, cfirm car start-up, good traction on curves. If they act equally well in winter i will buy and fit them to another car as well. Definitely better than summer ones like Passio, Brilantis, K702, Kormoran, Efecta. I can easily compare them to Firestone Multihawk i drove in the autumn. I'm waiting for the winter - I think they will outmatch the current Polaris 2 or Frigo Directional. I think the mid-class of all-season tyres is much better than the economic all-season tyres. It is surprising that Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert are not that popular, if they were sold and recommended in the garages they would have lost the customer for at least 2.5 years Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

The Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres were doing brilliant for two seasons now. They never disappointed me during long trips in the summer and not even on a highway. In the summer days are stable and not too soft, the winter (already the second in their performance) shows their superiority over the cheap winter tyres and I can compare. Driving in the mountainous areas where I live is not a problem for these tyres. It's cool during late autumn or early spring, when the single season tyres are getting slippery at the start-up, and the Uniroyals outclass them. I highly recommend them. The people should stop nagging that the all-season tyres are worse than single season tyres. Such talk is rubbish. We know that complain the most are the ones swap the tyres seasonally. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert even outperformed some winter tyres in the tyre tests. I'd like the tyre experts would start seeing things more objectively. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

For a long time I wondered about buying Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres for the car in which I do not want to invest too much since it's not being used much. I always used the two sets of tyres for winter and summer. I treated These tyres as a kind of experiment. The tyre behaves more than well, is quiet (of course not as good in summer), soft, has good grip on wet and dry. So far i've been mostly using those at temperatures of around 10 degrees C. I do not know how it's gonna be in the summer. On snow and ice you can almost feel no difference between these and winter tyres. If someone needs universal tyres and not to costly then go with these! Good alternative to having two sets of tyres for 2 seasons. Sustainability is more than decent. So far done like 10000 miles on them and without issues. These tyres are pretty cool :) Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert got nothing to be ashamed of, really! :) Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I checked the tyres with my diesel minivan. On cool days they keep well up to 10 degrees Celsius. In the winter, when riding calmly, they are very safe. On rainy days you can also enjoy the safety they offer. Expect some surprises on summer - Driving on the hot asphalt is not comfortable - you can feel the strong rolling resistance and the rubber compound is very soft and like glued to the surface. This is the compromise of universal tyres; They make my car even slow down drastically compared to summer tyres (which I had before). It's tyresome for both the driver and the car - extra expenses - greater fuel consumption. It is hard to accelerate with those on and they quickly wear off at temperatures above 10 degrees Celsius. Treads looks like that of typical winter tyres, the the rubber is also as soft as with winter tyres. Read more Collapse

I am professional driver and I have used a lot of different summer and winter tyre models. In last two years I have tried few all weather models as well. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres are currently fitted on my wife's vehicle. I do not really like to glorify anything too much but there is nothing bad what I could tell about this Uniroyal. Grip on the wet and dry is good, tyre gives sense of control during driving even on snow. The most impressive is the wet grip. Perfect tyre for english weather. I would compare it to some premium class models and it is important to realize that Uniroyal is from middle class. I think that it is hard to find better tyre for someone who lives in the city and not in really hard terrain like mountains for example. I can recommend with clear conscience. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I try to not get too excited about the tyres frankly speaking. Most of the drivers, including me of course, have no idea how summer or winter tyre should be manufactured. The only thing which can be compared between different tyres is the driving experience. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert is really good one in my opinion. It has excellent wet grip which is important for a safety. I can not tell to much about fast driving as it is hard for me to develop some speed because I drive in the city mostly. However, it is quite possible that this Uniroyal model could handle it pretty well. Fuel consumption is just on the normal level. In my opinion it is decent product which can be recommended. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres very cool in terms of noise level they make. Compare that with the more expensive tyres; 2-3dcb in favor to Uni. Not many people will notice the sound while driving and your wallet it will definitely feel the difference. On the rain 6/6 comparing to the Matador (which is rubbish) Uniroyal wins of course. They cope well with the snow covered roads. In my area the snow doesn't get removed in particulary reliable manner. Anyway there was no snow since like 2 years now. What you save on tyre fitting twice a year would be pretty much close to what you'd have to spend for the new set of these tyres, so you'd better go ahead. Read more Collapse

I bought Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert before last winter and I have to say I'm delighted. I drive in the city on a daily basis. On the dry - superb, on the wet the car doesn't loose traction at all which was quite a surprise for me. When i've had an opportunity to drive some snow covered dirt roads i must say there were no troubles at all. The downside is that they can be loud when braking on dry asphalt but otherwise great. I'm curious how will they go through the summer especially the heat. But I hope they will cope as well as in winter. I would honestly recommend them to people who can not afford horrendously expensive tyres. These are great :-) Read more Collapse

I drive my Ford Focus rather not too often as it's a secondary car in a family. That was why i have chosen all season tyres (so i wouldn't have to deal with queues to a garages twice a year and save the fitting costs). Of course Uniroyal is a good company and at least here you cannot say that jack of all trades is master of none. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres were doing well on snow/mud/slush covered roads. Good on the dry as well. So far no sing of treadwear. I'm waiting for the summer to see how will they act at high temperatures, but I think it's a really good choice. Read more Collapse

I have mounted Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert up for a second car in a family which milage is somewhat over 5000 miles. Previously in our Yaris we have had Debica Passio (in the summer) and Debica Frigo 1 (in winter). What surprised me after the switching to Uniroyals? Silence and driving comfort. It is definately more quiet than the summer tyre, finally don't have to hear the of Debica's humming. On dry they behave like good summer tyres, on the wet they behave perfectly as well. I strongly recommend the Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres. I decided to buy these with full awareness as i already used tyres of this manufacturer in the past with a different car. For driving in the city are very well suited. Great during longer trips in the summer as well. I don't see any increase in fuel consumption, the sound while driving no different from summer tyres. You cannot expect the tyres to act any better on dirt roads too. Driving in the rain is safe - it's a general trait of a Uniroyal brand. As for winter conditions - flawless. Read more Collapse

I have been using Uniroyal tyres for a long time now and i was never dissatisfied with any of them. It is known that the multi-season tire is a compromise between summer and winter, but for someone who doesn't drive too much on a daily basis it is a very good choice. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert tyres have a very good grip. On wet they have solid aquaplaning capabilities. So far i've made almost 10000 miles with Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert. Driven during hot days and winter as well. The tyres did a very good job during both seasons. I drive in the city for half the time and the other half being highways and some dirt roads. The tyres behave well whether its a snow covered road or just wet. During hotter periods the tyres didn't get too soft as i was a bit afraid they might. Quiet too. So far i've been replacing the tyres for summer/winter season but these days are over. Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert did not let me down, pulls nicely on the snow, brakes well on wet. I think I will never buy winter or summer tyres anymore. The way forward its definitely an all season tyres. When it comes to driving in a dry conditions, it's a bit louder, but it's good. I recommend. Read more Collapse

Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert performs surprisingly good even when some snow coveres the road. It is nice and easy to drive on wet asphalt with this tyre fitted. Braking is excellent. I can not tell too much about driving on dry roads in sunny weather yet. I am really happy with this tyre so far. Read more Collapse

I bought Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert recently (August 2016) but it is revelation - quiet and really good water drainage. How will it be in winter? Price to quality – 5 stars. Previously, I had similar tyres fitted and they were very soft therefore really loud above 10 degrees. Yet very quiet. Read more Collapse
