Imperial Ecosport

Type: Summer tyre

Class: Economy — a great choice for drivers who value stable performance and reasonable prices

Intended use: Passenger cars of medium and high class

Tread: Asymmetrical — divided into two parts, where one is responsible for performance on dry roads and the second ensures safety on wet surfaces

Sizes: From 15 to 20 inches

Sporty performance at prices accessible to everyone? Imperial Ecosport is a product long awaited by many drivers. Innovative approach, experience in design and a range of advanced technologies available so far only with high-class cars, helped to create this groundbreaking model for dynamic driving.

Excellent handling performance is provided by a modern asymmetric tread. This innovative system allows the simultaneous control of a diverse group of parameters. It consists of two autonomous parts.

  • The inner zone, with its optimised system of deep central grooves, instantly removes water and dirt from the tyre. This is extremely important during dynamic cornering. The rough surface prevents the accumulation of liquid under the front of the tyre, minimising the risk of grip loss and aquaplaning.

  • The outer blocks provide excellent sporty performance on dry roads. the extended system of elements with irregular edges guarantees optimal grip, even at very high speeds. In addition, the reinforced side zones stabilise the structure, maintaining the car's controlled track, regardless of the route.

The asymmetric tread is not the only element responsible for the sporty nature of the tyre. The designers of Imperial Ecosport selected a modern rubber blend. Well-balanced proportions guarantee that the model maintains its properties, even at very high temperatures. It wears slowly and does not melt on hot asphalt.

Despite its typical sporty characteristics, Imperial Ecosport provides very high driving comfort . The undeniable travel pleasure is the result of the combined operation of the tread and the well-balanced rubber blend. The tyre effectively dampens vibrations generated when driving on uneven roads, whereas the closed system provides a very high acoustic comfort inside the vehicle.

I have been thinking for a long time about buying new tyres. I was already driving on 10 year old michelin tyres and they finally had to be replaced. Unfortunately it was a shame to spend 500-600zł on a "branded" tyre when you are driving a 15 year old car. Used tyres were also considered, but even the most branded rubber does not have the same properties as a new one after a few years. I suspected that the used tyres in the wholesalers could come from cars that had crashed abroad, and driving on such tyres could be dangerous. So I decided to take a risk and buy Imperiale ecosports. When the tyres arrived by courier, I was impressed with their workmanship, I expected them to be Chinese, with uneven tread and so on, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. They look surprisingly decent. Only 8-10g weights were used when balancing. The tyres turned out to be much quieter and more stable than my previous ones. I have to admit that they are very hard, which with the 45 profile you can feel on bumps, but at the same time they are very durable. Sometimes I drove into such holes that I thought that not only would there be a bullet on the tyre, but also that the wheel with the shock absorber would soon break off... And here we are, nothing happened. I have occasionally driven at higher speeds of 180km/h and had no complaints. In conclusion, if you are not a rally racer, it is not worth overpaying for branded rubber. It is also not worth buying used tyres that are worn out by life. But it is definitely worth considering these Imperials. Read more Collapse

As usual, I started my tyre search by browsing ratings and reviews on oponeo. I was surprised to find quite a high rating for these tyres.Since our roads can sometimes resemble asphalt shot up with heavy arthritis, I took a risk.... and today I have no regrets....In a Citroen C6, which is not supposed to be a speed demon, but a flying carpet, they behave really well. The first big plus is the quality of the tyre. The heaviest weight: 20 grams.., second plus is the look...the tread resembles the shape of another brand, but no matter.... third plus is the durability....our drivers "pulled out" the manhole a few centimeters above the asphalt level, forgetting to put anything warning about this fact...dark, rain, no lighted road...the tyre lasted, and from the sound I thought that the rim and tyre. ...no boils...nothing...The only drawback: braking and turning in the wet...you really have to take into account what tyres you are driving on, but when I read the comments of other users of these tyres I can see that they pay attention to this.I recommend them sincerely and I am glad that oponeo has included them in their list of tyres. The tyres have proved themselves. I was a little worried about what they would be like... I didn't know the company at all, but now I can honestly say that there is no difference between dunlop, pirelli or any other well-known tyre I have always bought. Even a friendly vulcanizer praised them. There was no problem with balancing. The tyres are surprisingly quiet and that is a big advantage. After almost 20,000 km I have not noticed that they wear faster than others. Braking on dry pavement without reservations, but already on wet pavement at higher speed I noticed that they have little slip and it is better to drive more carefully. I have already driven with them in Italy and all over Poland. I can without a doubt recommend them to anyone who wants to buy new tyres and not overpay. I was faced with the dilemma of whether to buy new or well-known used, I bought new, cheaper inperials and it was a shot in the bull's eye. So if anyone is wondering whether to buy, I can tell you straight away that it is worth it. Regards Read more Collapse

Tyres at this price in quality of tyres 2, 3 times more expensive. I was worried because the bmw... rear wheel drive and my lady drives her kids to kindergarten. A set of tyres with postage for 800 PLN, at most I will take them off and sell them for 100 PLN each. The only thing we noticed when balancing that it was not easy. 90/5, 105/25... The steering wheel shakes slightly at 120 and then immediately stops. It does not even bother me and believe me, I am crazy about it. No slippage in the wet and this is a rear drive. ZERO NOISE!!! After 3000 km I can't see any wear. Maybe a little bit on the rear, but you know, sometimes after squealing (on a dry surface they stick so well that it's hard to squeal. If they last at least 2 seasons I will be happy, but I can already see that it is more. I will also buy them next time. The gas consumption is 15l per 100 km which is the same as on Firestones in winter. I do not judge the colour of the tyres, because it is ridiculous to me, but they look cool. Read more Collapse

For a Chinese tyre it is extremely good quality, good but not very good, because it also has disadvantages such as fairly rapid wear, although this may be due to the high mileage of 35,000 km in one season, this season it will still last, but next season it should be replaced, but then the tyre will already have been driven about 60,000, in the wet it had when starting, it disperses water well, a little worse for braking. As for the advantages, because there are also a lot of them, the most important is: the price for a used tyre, very quiet (I did not expect), good grip in corners, very predictable in the dry so it drives confidently, good braking in the dry. In summary, it is worth buying, because the wallet remains a lot, if someone drives little (10,000-15,000 km a year) it will serve him a long time, it runs really surprisingly for a Chinese, important: a good workshop that will optimize the positioning on the rim. When I picked up the car I took it for a spin and immediately noticed the quietness and comfort of these tyres have a nice design. For those of you who are wondering, like me, if they have the rim protection (I phoned to ask about this and the operator replied that they didn't have it), I have to contradict them and ask Oponeo to correct it or at least report it because the imperial ecosport 205/50r16 tyre has the rim protection but you can't understand it from the photo on the website and there is no indication about it.I haven't been able to try these tyres on wet roads yet, but I will let you know as soon as it rains. For the moment I would like to thank Oponeo Poland in two days have made the tyres arrive in Italy, ready for delivery this morning (Monday) and for the fact that the tyres are (Fresh) as they said I can highly recommend to buy on this site, without having the slightest uncertainty because they are serious and reliable ... Insignia 4x4 220HP R18 tyres - change from Bridgestone Blizzak winter tyres. Day, dry, temp 7 degrees. First trip to a roundabout on new tyres and a big surprise. Car seemed to float on exit from roundabout - I thought - maybe not enough air. Pressure 2.5 bar - so not that. Another roundabout to go around - big slip on the outside. Generally, I did as much on these tyres as I did coming home from the tyre shop - maybe 5km. Big surprise after replacing from 5 year old winter tyres to the downside . Lateral grip below normal (Bridgestones were much better). I haven't tested hard braking yet. Generally speaking, the tyre is cheap and works well for a quiet driver. For someone who likes to play with sliding - will have fun - as the grip is poor. Not recommended for inexperienced drivers. This is my first impression. Will try to update later as the miles go by. (I gave a rating of "average" in the wet - not tested yet but a rating has to be given) Read more Collapse

I use the tyres mostly on the road. At speeds up to 100 kmh they are fine, quiet, soft, good absorption of bumps. The problems begin at speeds above 100 kmh. First trip, speed 110 kmh, tyres start to vibrate. I said to myself, ok, the new tyres will settle down. After driving 500 km, the problem persisted and I had my tyres re-balanced. The problem was still there. It turned out to be a factory defect in the tyres. Too bad. Besides, for someone who drives only in the city, the problem is rather undetectable. At highway speeds, very noticeable and uncomfortable. Price to quality.... I believe that we get exactly what we pay for, a good product, albeit underdeveloped. Of course, a huge PLUS and praise for OPONEO, the complaint was instantaneous and the exchange of tyres for another brand was without any problems. Read more Collapse

I used to drive on Pirelli tyres so at first I was afraid of this purchase, but now I can safely say that there is no need to overpay if you can not see a significant difference. The tyres grip very well both on wet and dry pavement and do not wear quickly at all, as it was commented before the purchase by my friends who drive European cars, after more than 15 thousand miles there is still a visible inscription on the tread. To sum up, for standard cars with 100-200 horsepower there is no difference between this tyre and other high class European tyres, except for the price. Therefore, if someone appreciates safety, I think that it is better to buy a new set of tyres "Imperial" every 3 years than to drive on the old "Europeans", because I can not afford new tyres, and these are not so bad in appearance ... I bought them for my honda civic, size 225/40r18. Tyre for ridiculous money (199PLN/pc), nice tread, fits well on the rim. The noise level is normal (225 must make a little noise), in the rain it drains water very nicely even from deeper puddles, the only thing I noticed is that on dry asphalt it quickly engages the abs which means quite poor grip. I drive my car every day to work on a good road, in a quiet mode without going crazy, so I rarely use the tyre's limits, but I noticed that the grip range is not great. All in all, I think it is a very good tyre, and with a price that is lower than a brand new tyre with half the tread, I will not hesitate to buy this brand again, especially since the cheapest competitor such as matador costs about 150 PLN more per piece. Imperial tyres are my first set of tyres of this class, usually I choose summer tyres from well-known and respected brands, which also translates into much higher expenditure. After several months of using the Imperial product I can definitely say that it was a hit. The tyre is quite quiet and does not transmit any vibrations or unevenness of the road surface while driving. The fuel consumption of the car is identical to the previous set. What I feared most was the wet performance of the tyre, but it turns out that my fears were unfounded as the Imperial Ecosport performs very well and the handling while cornering is confident and pleasant. In short, a very high quality product for very little money, next time I will also consider choosing this brand. Read more Collapse

I have driven around 8000km on these tyres and can say yes, on dry pavement they are great, nothing to complain about apart from the noise, as they make a bit of it compared to branded tyres. With the windows closed it doesn't bother me at all, but in hot weather it does. When it comes to wet pavement, this is where the problems begin, yes it is grippy and that is good, but braking is a nightmare (I mean harsher, but not emergency) abs immediately comes on and the car just seems to slide....You can get used to it, but you have to think a little faster on the brake pedal. To sum up these tyres I am satisfied with them, but when buying the next set I will want to buy something more expensive and better. I bought these tyres for obvious reasons... My wallet allowed me to buy budget tyres. I chose these tyres, they are 225/55/16 in size. The tyres were mounted on the road the other day and my observations are as follows: they are very quiet (I would never have expected them to be so quiet), they also behave very well in the rain and at speeds of 140/150 km/h on the motorway. It also has its drawbacks.... Unfortunately they brake poorly;/ you have to get used to earlier braking, and they just stink, but the latter can be tolerated;p So in summary, you can not expect anything from a low-end product, but overall I am pleased with the purchase, and I think that people driving moderately can recommend, although I would consider something more expensive. I have driven on European brands of tyres (Michelin, Dunlop), the first ones mostly banged after about 35000. Imperial tyres are not my first purchase of Asian products, I have already driven on Zeteexes, Triangles, Wanla (on Chrysler, peugeot and fiat cars and opel) in all conditions on summer and winter tyres and I don't notice a particular difference. In the wet, as with any other tyre, braking distance is longer within the natural wet grip difference. Wear is slightly faster (about 10%), but the price is 17% lower in return. I had no problems with balancing, only the protective lug, which is almost 90 degrees on these tyres, had a harder time slipping into the rim. I don't drive violently, but I reach "my" speeds, and so far so good. Read more Collapse

My first impression was very good. Soft rubber, no problems with fitting and balancing. They grip the road relatively well, both on dry and wet pavement. I would recommend this product and give it the highest rating as they were really great for the price. Unfortunately, the magic broke when after a mileage of about 700km on one of the tyres a lump popped out on the side. My first thought was "a manufacturing defect". I filed a complaint. Unfortunately, after removing the tyre, it turned out that it is cut from the inside. The most interesting thing is that I did not hit any pothole or even scrape against a kerb, even the smallest manholes I always avoid, the pressure was correct and a tyre sold as "reinforced" behaved like that. Disappointment. So I can identify feelings after putting on the rim. Before that he was Michelin Pilot Sport 255/35/18. Please do not suggest these wonderful views of these tires. I bought just the thought that we should not overpay because it's a tire and now I have a problem that I have to sell it cheaper to buy something reasonable, and again pay for the spacers. Tire yes quiet and cool amortized in this respect is very cool. If you depend on comfort for the low price it is a good choice. But for me the pleasure of driving the car breaks down like flies. Bottom. I can not drive my car as I changed the tires. The first day on the journey to work when a bit in a hurry and I was used as the vehicle drives along the tracks and suddenly my rear of the car is running, check the lights .... On a straight road car flying in general is an uncontrollable tragedy .... for me it is impossible to put jeździć.I am forced to sell a few cents cheaper. Vehicle BMW suspension Mtechnik. Like many people, I bought these tires in August suggesting positive feedback. Unfortunately, in my case, it was not quite hit the purchase. I drove on them for a total of 200km in the combined cycle. Tires could not balance the August. When it seemed the are balanced, at 80km / h appeared gentle beating, at 90km / h trzepalo already all over the car. By slow vulcanizer, which I put them on, had an issue with the proper deposition in August on wheels. It's hard to me to be concluded as these tires in August so really behave on different surfaces ... The whole set had to turn to the store ... and here in my hand a great praises for Oponeo for quick and hassle-free processing of your complaint. After filing the claim, the courier arrived after the tires, a few days later already ... I came new I exchanged for a completely different manufacturer and different model. Tires brand Imperial strongly advise, especially in the case of a low profile. Read more Collapse

When buying suggested opinions and low price. I wonder why those tires got so high an opinion? Does the price closed all eyes? According to me, yes! My experience of driving on these tires: After the rain terror ride; ABS, ESP constantly give to know that there are and act, unless it is moving gently on the clutch and brakes very early ... Recently when I had a more powerful braking to save the shoulder because the car in the wet even thought to inhibit the ABS work from the moment you press the brake until to stop. On dry pavement OK, but you can not move vigorously because ESP does not allow; and when it is off the car does not want to move. I rate these tires very badly and I warn all those who want to buy them because of the low price. I think life more valuable than a few hundred saved, respectively. Read more Collapse

As a car connoisseur and as car repair expert, I can tell you that this really is a top band. I have always been expensive brands such as Michelin Fast Response Dunlop, Hankook Kinergy Eco and Vredestein. Because rising prices through the roof, I planned to buy a low budget time band. I can tell you I never going to buy a brand tire. I have four tires replaced as driven to Morocco. Big car with lots of luggage and peace offerings. I've driven the Renault Grand Scenic like crazy, literally raced through all corners, the tires have not failed once in the bend. They send very sporty driving / rolling deliciously over the road. My advice is to definitely buy. You literally will not regret. I'm sold!! Read more Collapse

Earlier, I used another brand of Chinese tires and I was happy. They were not perfect but value for money was very good. Therefore, I decided to buy Imperiali. Unfortunately, once the problems started - beat on the steering wheel. Subsequent workshops were not able to cope with balancing. Finally, I went on a road test. 2 tire proved to be good. One required to optimize on the rim and one lent itself only to the exchange, which the shop he decided. Balancing costs incurred several times, translating and testing accounted for almost half of the tire (almost 400 zł). I do not count the lost time and nerves ... In summary I would not recommend. As the title says, this is a very good tire for the money, surpasses the quality for the price. I expected that in less than 200 PLN will be a miserable quality, but was surprised because donuts are really great. The fastest drove them 200km / h and at this speed it was not heard them. Tires are also imprinted on the tire tread, surprisingly after 10 thousand, it is still what it means to the durability of rubber that will not serve wipes and long. I would recommend. An additional advantage is also the fact that these are new tires, and this means that I ordered in March and date of manufacture is March. I would recommend Read more Collapse

After my colleague gave a positive experience and to convince Audi A8 W12 changed Verdesteiny product from Asia Nankang runs very aggressively and is 100% satisfied speed on a motorway in Germany 240 - 300 km. To start with a simple question: Who invented the category of "look"? This is my first Chinese tires. Sorry, but there are worse than the European average, for 50% of our tires. It is very disturbing, because manufacturers in Europe must make a technological leap or ... they will have to cut prices. Ridden many sets of tires. I buy only new. Worst crap on which I rode in the summer - Dayton E Costa, the best - Yokohama C Drive. In addition, the former Goodyeary, Mocheliny, continetal, Fulda, Gislaved (of those that remember). Well - it will be difficult to persuade me now for the European product. Read more Collapse

Well I just 2000km threatened to get out of the road 20 times in changing direction and lane highway .. they have a non-existent shoulder, do not absorb and do not take the road, they have a very bad pendulum effect extending throughout the trim appearance of the car .. Shameful. spend € 100 per couple more 'but take premium brands .. in fact I sold after 2000km pretty new at half price. No more 'Chinese / Indian, do not mess with the car. Read more Collapse

I bought a cheap tire for the first time and I will do next. I was afraid of the noise and balance but apparently groundless. Tire for ridiculously cheap money and I'm very pleased. As far as driving in the city and on the road. I do not know how to be with the durability but do not expect miracles. Although I do not believe that something could happen in the next 70-80 thousand. km, and the more I do not operative for 5 years. There really is no concern. As one reflects on the brand used but it makes a mistake. The new tire is the "new" you know what to buy. Recommend! Read more Collapse

Hello all, I would like to express its opinion about these tires. I did not expect such tires for such ridiculous money, at the beginning I had to be ordered floors so you first ordered one pair after a month I decided on a second pair of tires. Cornering the tires stick to the pavement as I do not know, the second plus it also looks like and the same profile tires and also the tread. In my case, what tire balancing there was no problem only had a problem with the tires on alloy wheels jumping into as many as at 5-6 atmospheres. Overall interesting and good tires for cheap money. My first in the life of new tires. I used to buy used designer. Now I do not even look at used since for 900 zł I have nówki. With the establishment of the vulcanizer two of them do not need weights, and two just 20 grams. They are faint, they look good. Lead to good on dry and wet. I do not know how to durability, but I do 10k miles per year for 5 years so definitely me enough. I bought 235/45/17, I could choose a lower profile :) As for the attenuation of inequality previously had Fulda Excelero and SportControl, and now with the tires empire did not hear any knock. I had the opportunity to do these tires approx. 15 000 km will say so dry the surface completely LARGE (+) quiet great to exercise, a small combustion, very good adhesion. But the problem starts when it starts to rain, it starts to swing by car by car, badly disperse water, they lose their grip, all the while he is turning it on abs. This looks completely does not differ from other brands and it looks cool sport. I would recommend tires for people what little doesnt it's not worth it to overpay for other tires. Tires very pleasant. During the change from Pirelli and Bridgestone I was very positively surprised. On fast bends slightly too soft, but it is a tort greater comfort, if you can talk about comfort in size 235/40. You can see the sides of the tires are not too hard. In a large rain very predictable. As of now they wear out evenly and not too fast. I do not know how to behave in a car without a permanent 4WD, but I still think of for this price are hard to beat :) set of tires in this size range below $ 1,000 branded outgoing little competition is a really good buy. Tires purchased in December / January 2014/2015. Founded for the summer season 2015 driven about 4000km without failure. Mainly "ridden" on the fast lane routes. Recent wet braking + of 2 people on board (the guys after 80-100kg) gently playing with abs-but some stopping. I think the tires for the money to meet the expectations of even quite demanding users. As minus that I noticed is they are loud but maybe it's my own feeling. I would recommend to people who are looking for an interesting tires at reasonable money. Read more Collapse

Tire quiet even at 200km / h, I see no reason, and differences in comparison with branded tires, I recommend an indecisive person, I bought based on the reviews and do not regret it, it is better to pay for quality and not for the brand. If 30tys.km withstand a pile of them again. During braking, the abs does not turn on, it takes a really strong braking. Esp is also not react too early. I picked the cheapest tire, and I was not disappointed. I go quietly and slowly. But sometimes it happens that pinning. I have not noticed any adverse behavior of the tires in different conditions. I have a delicate impression that it is a little bit louder than the previous (brand) of the tire. But what does it matter on Polish roads full of potholes? And I Appendix I travel around Wrocałwiu, which is more than asphalt paving. I also have a little feeling that combustion is just a bit higher, but paliwko is now cheap :). Read more Collapse

The tires are bad, the speed of 90 km / h above is ok but, on the highway ... beating, vibration, "one hundred thousand weights" to balance the tire. What price the product, do not understand the praise for this lousy product. Overall, very good tires. Dry braking surface during acceleration, cornering as well. You have to be careful when it's wet, sometimes likes to surprise the driver of tire slippage when cornering. Sudden starting and braking is also much elongated. If someone is not crazy and is accustomed tyre approx. As for comfort, I have a low profile so there is no damping holes which require, but car for it stiffer. Tires quiet. Shelf life after 14000 km is satisfactory. I do not see that too much zdzierały. The tire really good, I'm surprised most pleasant in appearance tire many persons could not believe how much they really cost the tires so. After some time, rubber fade and you need to have fun in blacks. They generate the grip of a very good little noise. On wet pavement also give advice. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability of the tire. I really do not have lightly with me and still give these napisny May on the tread. As for me bomb. I would buy again if I needed a again. Very good quality for the price. I hesitated before buying or not to buy branded tires from 2 times higher price now I do not buy the brand because paying for inscription on the tire and the like, they are not different. I can even say that they are better than branded Cormorants! That I had earlier in my Ford Focus. Proposes still too funny money to buy insurance for these tires, insurance gives great protection at a low price I know something about this work in an insurance company. Read more Collapse

Unfortunately, I do not recommend, I had to replace whole set. I suggested a couple of online opinions and decided to maybe save some money and I ended up with double costs. The tires CAN'T GET BALANCED, to begin of beating at 120 km / h, destroying the suspension of the car. Perhaps the smaller size might deal with this, but avoid 18's att all costs. However I can praise OPONEO that they did not make any issue with complaint (probably because they noticed the quality themselvest). Read more Collapse

I rode these tires in a relatively strong, 250 horsepower car. They do not give in to well-known brands. In a company car I have the opportunity to ride many thousands of kilometers on brand-name tires and I know that it is not worth overpaying in many cases. According to my many years of experience, drivers such brands as Michelin, Continental, Pirelli etc. do not make a difference in everyday driving compared to eg Imperial. I heartily recommend this product without any worries. Read more Collapse

I was looking for something to my mondka, I came across a lot of different forums, buying was a very good move, in my opinion, tires suited great both on dry and on wet, it is the ideal alternative to zajechanych drugs and cosmically expensive as the leading tire manufacturers in the second car I Pirelli and Toyo and can not see any difference apart from the cool visuals. They have protective rant on the rim which at this size is very useful, I definitely recommend. Read more Collapse
