The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is a state-of-the-art model launched as the successor to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. The latter has been famous for many years as one of the best tyres on the market for more powerful vehicles. The new model performs even better thanks to its improved grip, shorter braking distances, greater resistance to wear and lower fuel consumption.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 features an asymmetric tread which provides outstanding stability during manoeuvres and efficient dispersal of water. The Active Braking technology used in the tyre reduces braking distances on wet and dry roads. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is manufactured using the innovative Grip Booster compound, which delivers above-average stability during dynamic driving.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has a particularly robust and reinforced design, which has several benefits: improved performance when going round corners, slower tread wear and reduced fuel consumption.
TÜV tests showed that the braking distances achieved by the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 are shorter than those of similar tyres from competing brands, by up to 2.6 m on wet roads and 1.3 m on dry roads.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 is fitted as original equipment in the Chevrolet Camaro for the US market.
