Goodride SW601

I had to buy new winter tyres, and because of my limited budget I decided to buy Goodride SW601. On my the second car I have Debica Frigo 2s fitted, so I'll try to make a small comparison. On fresh snow and slush their behaviour is very good, and thus very similar. They both slide on ice, but it's common knowlegde that the only way ot drive on ice is to use spiked tyres. As for behaviour on wet and dry, Goodride tyres provide better grip than Debicas. They grip better in the corners and at higher speeds you have the sense of stability (the car doesn't swerve). I did about 7000 miles on Goodride tyres and I don't see any visible signs of wear. To sum up, Goodride SW601 are good tyres at a decent price. Read more Collapse

I bought Goodride SW601 tyres because the price was affordable and the tyre had good reviews. I was not disappointed with them. They provide perfect grip on dry. Very good grip on wet. On dry, fresh snow it can be felt that the tyre keeps the grip and slashes through the snow. On wet snow it grips quite well and gives a good sense of control. On solid ice, as it's known, it slides like all other non-spiked tyres. It's very quiet, almost like a summer tyre, and it's (in)audible when compared to my previous Debica Frigo 2s which were extremely loud. I can personally recommend. the tyres. Read more Collapse

Goodride SW601 are definitely good and cheap tyres! They did about 3000 miles in very difficult conditions like snowy and icy roads, and such were not even a challenge for them! Very reliable! Although I will have to replace my front tyres next season, Goodride SW601 pleasantly surprised me with their driving properties. I can definitely recommend them for mid-range cars - it's not really worth to spend the money for more expensive tyres if you can get a good one at a decent price! Read more Collapse

I've had a lot of tyres for both summer and winter. Goodride SW601 are the weakest winter tyres I've had so far. In my opinion they are very uneven in the corners, noise level is average. Starting on wet or damp and cold, frozen surface disqualified this tyre totally. I don't even have words to describe braking on such surfaces - it can't be worse. Goodride SW601 is a good tyre for little money, I have it fitted to a C4 Grand Picasso 1.7T and I live in the mountains so I know what I say, I was shocked thet it handled fresh snow better than a Dunlop Winter Sport. After doing about 12000 miles in winter the wear is minimal - 1,5 to 2 mm max. I definitely recommend. Read more Collapse

In the winter I Klebery, Toyo and Firestony. do not provide any safety driving such as these. Auto is nicely regardless of the surface, beyond the ice in Lithuania, when and sand to zakopały, but the entire country under various conditions did not have any problems. The impression I got the very first impact is that of the machine unstable, so much so that I got out of my Juliet to see if I had laundry. I drove on these tyres from Bydgoszcz to Lincoln UK (central England) 1600km.dnia 27styczeń2010 Honda Accord 2.0 sedan by the German highway tyres fought with heavy snowfall and zmarzlinami and doing well! I would recommend. Read more Collapse
