    Opinion from outside the UK

I didn't do a great distance on Falken FK 452 to assess them eventually but this can be treated as a pre-assessment. The tyres did about 2400 miles to Italy and back - on the motorway they are doing great - less rolling resistance than on my previous Michelin Pilots and Uniroyal RainSports. In the city Falken FK 452 also are not bad - especially on bumpy roads - I am "lucky" to drive on such roads very often :) - well, advantages of 18" wheels and condition of the paths... because they can't be called roads. Great grip in fast bends, but, of course, it's possible to overdo, the rear at some point starts to swerve strongly, on Michelins I could sense their limits better (and the price limit, too ;) - for the benefit of Falken, of course). Anyway, they're great in dry, they also do well on wet. I heard they wear off quickly (that's why I gave a 5) - as for now, I don't see that because of a small distance driven but somehow I don't see any chance for replacing them after 20 thousand miles ;). What really surprised me is the fact they are quiet - it's their great advantage. They may be a little noisy during the last phase of braking, but it's bearable noise. it's not that important, but they look nice. I hope I'll be able to write the same thing afterr 20 thousand miles. Of course, I'll try to post an update. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I boughtFalken FK 452 tyres along with the wheels on an auction - they were used by their previous owner. He assured that he has been using them for one season and they looked almost like new, except for one that got hit had quiate a large bulge on its sidewall as the fringe protector got damaged, so it had to be replaced. Their grip on wet and on dry is sensational. Previously I used a low-profile 16 inch Pirelli PZero Nero, it was softer and had slipped a bit on wet, and Falken FK 452 don't have such issue, and I drive a lot in rain. My assessment about comfort is not relevant because there not much of it on profile 30 :) I'm not complaining about noise level. A lot of people complain about the balancing - I put my Falkens on and nothing happens. When it comes to their wear-off, I've been using them only for one season and they are still far from their wear index. They look fine but visually I preferred Pirellis. When it comes to rolling resistance, I changed from 205/16 to 235/20 and fuel consumption increased, but it's because of the wheel size, not only the tyre. I'll try to add more assessments after I replace my faulty tyre. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Hello to all interested with Falken FK 452. Frankly speaking, the tyre is worth the money spent on them, is of very good quality and provides a great using experience. I drive a Mercedes 600 SEL with over 400 HP engine, which is a large and heavy car, I drive at moderate speeds (up to 95 MPH), but no sudden starts or brakings. Both on dry and wet the Falken FK 452 behaves very well, also in the corners, even those taken with higher speed. I am pleasantly surprised by the low noise level and rolling resistance, they're really quiet tyres, even on cobbled roads. Falken FK 452 look very sporty, aggressive tread pattern suggests an aggressively aspirated tyre. I'll buy these Falkens again for sure when I have to change the tyres and see how many miles can be made on them. To sum up - I'm very satisfied with Falkens and would recommend them in good conscience to all who don't want to overpay for the more expensive products that are not necessarily better. Opinion from outside the UK

I bought the Falken FK452 trusting in Japanese quality. I was right to some extent. The tyre grips well on dry asphalt and it's awesome on wet, drains water greatly and you have to do a lot to get aquaplaning on these ones. But the tyres had some problems with balancing, and after about 4000 miles the wheels started to vibrate. With tyres out of the question I replaced my brake discs, pads, upper and lower levers, bolts and I checked my alloys in order to verify that they are not crooked. After half a year of struggle and renofating the car the traction balancer showed that, unfortunately,Falken FK 452 are no longer usable. I have to mention that the problems occured on the way back from the seaside and not on the city streets. If it wasn't for that they have to be used carefully, and they cause trouble (and they qare only two years old), Falken FK 452s would be very good tyres. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I did about 8 thousand miles on these tyres. Traction on dry surface is great and the same goes for wet surface. Generally speaking, I didn't see any difference between driving on dry and wet. Abrasion of the tyres is also good - after about 8 thousand miles the tread has just started to wear off. They don't make a lot of noise, but their driving comfort and shock absorbing properties could be better. When it comes to behaviour on snow and ice, I gave them high marks because I didn't want to lower their overall note. I recommend these tyres because they have a great look and superb performance, and the price is much lower than top class brands. By the way, when compared with Dunlop SP Sportmaxx and Bridgestone Potenza, Falken FK 452 gets first place, because its performance isn't much different from Dunlop's, and is much cheaper. Opinion from outside the UK

After driving a distance of 25 thousand miles I have a very mixed impression. As for safety, these tyres can be exemplary, but when it comes to driving comfort, these tyres don't have such! I drive in 99% on motorways (Germany-Netherlands) and do over 4 thousand miles a month, my driving style is fast but steady - high speeds without sudden accelerating or braking. The tread is completely worn off, but it doesn't worry me. Very serious drawbacks of these tyres are: extremely fast feathering, resulting in vibrations on the steering wheel, high noise level, very hard compound (poor shock absorbing), a large increase in fuel consumption (more than 1 l/100km). Compared to the Uniroyal RainSports that I previously had, Falken FK 452 is a complete misunderstanding. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

The main advantage of these tyres is their behaviour on wet. There is practically no difference, no matter if you drive on dry or on wet. The largest drawback is the excessive noise level (I even wondered if my bearings are not down!), the same situation occurred with its precedessor, the FK 451. These tyres are noisier than many winter ones. When it comes to their wear-off, so far I've driven too small distance to assess this aspect, but I believe there is nothing for free, either you get good grip or long life span. Overall, Falken FK 452 is a very good tyre for a decent price if you don't mind the noise. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Falken FK452 is the best summer tyre I used. It has outstanding traction on dry and even on wet does not stick out from this level. Perfectly drains water from under the wheels. Often when driving on wet roads you can forget that it's raining. Very well kept cornering. Besides the tyre is quiet and when it comes to comfort, for the profile I had it was fine. The only drawback that I found is quite high wear-off. But they compensate it with their grip. Now I am purchasing new 18" alloy wheels and, of course, they will be fitted with Falken FK 452. I recommend! Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

So far they have gotten me out of several dangerous situations but if it wasn't for ESP, the tyres would be helpless. When combined with ESP, the Falken FK 452 is a very safe tyre. They're a bit too loud, but their oveall quality compensates fot it. I used them on snow for a bit but there is nothing to talk about - they are summer tyres and have no chance even against the worst winter one (at least I think so because braking on these tyres with ABS switched on in the snow was terrible). But in summer they're good. My rating is a B+. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I had few tyre sets before and I have to say that the Falken FK 452s are the only tyres I had which almost don't slide in the rain at all, the tyre has virtually unlimited grip to the surface. I observed slight wear-off of outside tread elements, but it's certainly a result of driving in the ruts. I think Falken FK 452 is the tyre of the year, I haven't found a bettger tyre to use, they are definitely better than the Goodyear Excellences, Dunlop SP Sport 2020s, Hankook Ventus, Yokohama C Drives. As for new tyres, they have good grip on wet. Unfortunately, as soon as they wear off a bit, you must be very careful when driving over the puddles because they lose contact with the road. In heavy rain sometimes it felt like driving on snow. They grip great on dry, even when worn out, they don't make the car swerve and don't vibrate... Definitely much better than Toyo T1-Rs, but they're slighly worse than Yokohama AVS Sport V102s. Read more Collapse

Falken FK 452s are the first Falken tyres I bought, I've never dealt with tyres if this brand before. I was wondering why the price is so low (I bought a 205/50R17 tyre for about 65 pounds) and I can say that for such price they are unbeatable. They're as quiet at 120 MPH as at 50 MPH, They grip the road very well, both on dry and wet and what's more, they look great. I can recommend this model to everyone without any doubts. Falken FK 452s are very quiet tyres for a decent price. After 10 000 miles they don't have any negative symptoms. Resistant to curbs and deep holes, I ran over some pits but thankfully they didn't do any harm to my wheels. They're quite hard and the suspension is less comfortable now, but it's because of the load index. They're sensational when driving fast on the road. Read more Collapse

I drive pretty fast sometimes, and I'm not afraid to get into corners in the rain, or even heavy rain ;) As for their wear-off, I can't say much after 12 000 miles. So far, these Falkens are fine. I drive a lot (about 50,000 miles per year), but steadily (no aggressive driving). The Falken FK 452 passed the exam, and I wanted a tyre which is quiet and behaves well on wet surfaces. On wetet it's just great, it's also quiet but after a year of using it started to feather slightly, thus increasing the level of noise. Overall, I'm very satisfied with them. Read more Collapse

I chose to buy Falken FK 452s after reading numerous reviews. The tyre is fairly comfortable, provides good grip on wet and dry. Could be more silent but it's not bad. They're loud and don't grip so well, but you can't expect more from tyres for such price. Previously I had factory-fitted Michelins and they were much better, but much more expensive, and the 2.0 HDI plus a heavy foot made them unusable in three summer seasons. I assume Falken FK 452s will last longer. Their grip is average - good for everyday driving. Read more Collapse

I put the tyres on 10Jx20" rear wheels and narrower 8,5Jx20" front ones. These Falkens have very short braking distance, strating is also fine - it also is probably the credit of 4motion drive. Balancing weight is about 15-20 grams where premium class tyres need twice as much. I definitely recommend the Falken FK 452s, drove about 10k miles on them. Read more Collapse

The tyres are much better than their predecessor, the FK 451, they're quieter, don't wear off so fast, but they look a bit worse when fitted. On wet they're sensational, I forgot that I have ABS installed in my car. Overall, at the price of 70 pounds hte Falken Fk 452s are the best tyres. I recommend. Read more Collapse

For me, the Falken FK 452 is a very good tyre. It's much cheaper premium-class tyres and I think it has comparable parameters. The tread looks good, and that's one of the reasons why I recommend it. A ne wone looks really great and has a lot of tread so I think it will last for a few seasons. Read more Collapse

First of all, Falken FK 452s are sensational on wet. Secondly, they're impossibly quiet (shame on them), thirdly, balancing took almost no weights, I can slightly complain about braking on dry (or maybe I';m exaggerating) Generally, the Falken FK 452's a cool tyre, and costs good money. To be honest, when I chose to buy Falken FK 452s, my primary criteria were visual look and price, I didn't think about other parameters. Now I find the purchase 100% successful. The tyre isn't loud, there's no aquaplaning and it has great look. I highly recommend it. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Due to the fact that the tire has been repeatedly assessed, I will focus on two aspects: [255/35 ZR19; 272 hp; quattro] 1) wet grip is poor. For normal driving, a slightly higher profile, sure enough. The loss of traction during dynamic driving occurs abruptly and without prior communication. Extremely sensitive to dust / dirt mixed with water in the early stages of precipitation. 2) Depth Edge protects the rim and is symbolic for the specified above absolute size too small! For 6 years driving cars with wheels 17 and 18 inches NEVER happened to me even scratch the rims, not to mention the major abrasions. With these tires "managed" I scratch / wipe all 4 and it twice (after the winter wheels were sandblasted and powder coated - now look like before blasting) ... Read more Collapse

Tire great road holding even with such a heavy car like the A8, but that's it. Generally hopeless tire as quickly wears out after two years to be thrown away, and the teething from the beginning.
