The Dunlop Winter Sport 5 SUV has been designed as a well-balanced tyre. Its stand-out benefits include excellent lateral grip on slippery surfaces (good cornering), better drivability on snow (efficient moving off, short braking distances), resistance to aquaplaning and lower fuel consumption.

These can all be attributed to the sophisticated technological solutions used in this tyre. The V-shaped directional tread pattern, combined with a system of different blade types, creates a complex network of channels. The varied design of the grooves improves the tyre's hold on snow, as well as meaning that water and slush are dispersed more quickly and grip is increased.
