The Barum Bravuris 2 is the ideal choice for drivers looking for not only safety but also a performance level that ensures a genuinely enjoyable driving experience. The tyre is noted for its asymmetric tread pattern and is purposefully designed to deal with wet surfaces. The tyre handles wet and damp conditions thanks to the wide grooves that disperse water and the numerous blocks that reduce the risk of aquaplaning and ensure safe braking on wet roads.

The Barum Bravuris 2 has been created using an innovative silica compound that adapts to the surface and ensures optimal grip in any conditions. In terms of driving efficiency compared with the previous model, the new version offers better parameters thanks to the tyre's optimised contours. The manufacturer has also achieved manoeuvring stability and shorter braking distances on dry surfaces by using large tread blocks on the tyre shoulder. The Barum Bravuris 2 ensures an enjoyable and comfortable driving experience, combined with optimal steering precision thanks to small sipes on the tread. The tyre is noted for its long lifetime and even wear. This all means that the model retains its full performance specifications throughout its lifetime. Reduced rolling resistance thanks to the silica compound used helps reduce fuel consumption and makes driving on these tyres more environmentally friendly.

I've had Barum Bravuris 2 for the last 7 years and they've been fantastic value for money. I changed from run flats to these after I had the car for 18 months. The set I had previous to this lasted 22,000 miles on the rear and one of the fronts is still going after 28,000 (other front burst on huge pothole). My car handles well in the bends so I tend to carry more speed through corners than some other cars (it does inspire confidence) so while I don't think my driving style is that fast people do comment that I don't hang about. My driving is split 50/50 between motorway and fast winding country roads so the tires have definitely put up with a lot. I did hear these are made by Continental and I don't disbelieve it. Great wet and dry grip paired with durability. Can't go wrong for the money and I will buy again without a doubt. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

In my opinion very good tyres. I am testing them for 2 weeks now (I made about 2000 miles). They are very stabile even with high speeds. Very good grip on wet road. I am very happy with them. Even when driving 90Mph I feel very safe. The car acts like glued to the tarmac. There is no need to correct the streering wheel when the car falls into the hole or puddle. i had bridgestones and i threw them out when I almost crashed in cornering. I was very disappointed. Barum Bravuris 2 are totally different and way much better. I used Bravuris 1 as well and I used 2 sets of them. Bravuris 2 are the same quality or even better. i dont want to be so cheerful about them so I have to say that the only thing that I'm not happy with is the noise level. They are a bit loud but it is not a huge issue. I would recommend! Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought Barum Bravuris 2 as a choice of my own. My friends who have Bravuris in their cars recommended me this tyre. It appeared to be a bullseye! I haven’t read any opinion for I was interested only in certain ones. I drove the entire summer season. I have a car with rear wheel drive and diesel engine. I’m an experienced driver with years of practice. Bravuris is quiet, comfortable and what’s more important – durable. I haven’t noticed any increase on fuel consumption as I drive mainly outside the city. Bravuris 2 handles very well in the rain and as far as now I didn’t have any emergency situation. Braking is without any issues and Bravuris is very well made. As I mentioned I am experienced driver and this tyre meets my demands. Recommended for heavy and strong limousines. Read more Collapse

I bought my new Barum Bravuris and they were made in Germany. I dont have any idea if it has any meaning in that case but I cannot agree with all these people which wrote unpleasant reviews about that tyres. I was driving on Goodyears etc but Bravuris appeared to me as the best tyres I ever used. Even if the temperature falls below 0 these tyres behaves very well. I drive quite agresively and dynamically. I have to addmit that even when I want my car to skid these tyres feel like glued to the tarmac. Especialy on dry road. Perfect braking. The noise level is very low. With the profile 195/50 there always be loud inside the car but with Bravuris the noise is very low. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought Bravuris tyres because: Quality / Price ratio is brilliant. They are ADAC approved (Bravuris got there a 6 or 7 mark out of 10). They have very low rolling resistance and in that particular case they are even better than Conti or GoodYear. According to ADAC: braking and grip in corners is ok - Barum Bravuris 2 were commended and described as worth buying. What I can see in the real life is that these tyres are realy quiet, predictable and they won't suprise you while driving dynamicaly. Nothing dangerous happens even to 100miles. I realy recommend these tyres for all those users who care about the comfort. Read more Collapse

These tyres suprised me very positively. Vero low rolling resistance. Very good grip on wet road surface. I read opinions that they slip but the reviews come from the e36 and golf 3 users who think that they are immortal. The size that i use is 225/45/17 94W XL. My car has 200HP and i drive in a quite agressive manner but responsibly. if somebody drives to fast there is no point in buying high-class tyres unless smbdy can afford them. I dont now how these tyres behave in winter because I use summer ones but for the winter I consider buying Barums as well. The big advantage is the rim protector. RECOMMEND! Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I decided to buy Barum Bravuris because I had them in my old car 2 years ago. In my opinion very good tyres. There is no point to judge them by their price. The fact that they are chepaer doesn't mean that they are lower quality. They are perfect for common daily use. They are sufficient for driving in the cities. They aren't loud and they are stably while driving 80 MPHs (in that speed you hear air flow rather than tyre sound). They are predictable, and they provide me with good braking. In general I am very satisfied with them. After 10000 miles there is no visible sign of use. I recommend! Read more Collapse

Very good tyres. I replaced themwith my old Michelins. I can surely state that they have similar low noise level. I dont see any difference in fuel usage. very high driving comfort. Very good braking on wet road as well as on dry. They have a bit problem with driving trough puddles. Michelins were delaing with puddles a bit better but it is only my opinion. If its about handling and grip Bravuris are better than Michelins. They stick to the tarmac like glued. I can drive 10mile more in the corners. In genreal Barum Bravuris 2 are very good tyres and I recommend them to everyone. Read more Collapse

Budget tires and it shows by the depth of the tread, I bought based on reviews from other users and it is difficult to complain, especially that the price was not high. 16" is a really good price. Between May and the end of August I made over 10 thousand mainly around the city but drove on'em to Croatia and I can't complain. Morover I was presently surprised because Pirellis I had previously were less comfortable. However, today I don't regret spending more because I have the impression that long road awaits me but maybe it's just a feeling. tyres quiet and kickin'. Read more Collapse

I had 6 of them and I drove about 20000 miles and what I can say about them is that they behave perfectly on wet and dry road (even in high temperature, I tested them in Turkey). Unfortunately they have a few disadvantages. The biggest con is that they got feathered realy fast in my Mondeo on the rear axis and they become quite noisy because of that. On one set you will be able to drive about 30k miles. I recommend these tyres for people who drive in cities and dont make long distance journeys. Read more Collapse

I bought 4 Barum Bravuris 2 at a very decent price and I don't regret. Despite the fact that I was afraid that Bravuris is a good tyre for the size of 225/45/17, my hesitations were unconfirmed. Bravuris has a good grip. low noise so so far I drove 3500 miles and it was a great feeling. Barum gives you the same thing that Skoda in their cars - good quality for relatively less money from their competitors. For aggressive riders Bravuris may occur to weak. Great tires! Rateto quality - superb. They did not wear too quickly as some write despite aggressive driving. My advice for ppl who like aggresive driving style: always check Continental's recommendations for tyre pressure and set it according to the suspension. Bravuris sticks well on wet road, sometimes u can feel aquaplaning but it's normal by plain protector. I had usually driven upper shelf tyresbut I got convinced towards cheaper ones and highly recommend Bravuris 2! Read more Collapse

Proven mainly in the city .. on the road for approximately 600 miles. Superb price-quality ratio ... this is already my 2nd set of the brand ... and once again I am very pleased. Quiet (not inaudible :)), very well sticking to the road .. here I take into account the energetic pull away (120HP + turbine). In any gaps up to 50mph they come with ease and comfort. Opinion on the basis of experience at Michelin, Goodyer, Barum, Firestone. Once again, I strongly recommend! Read more Collapse

On wet I drive a bit slower, but even on wet tarmac one day after snowing in +4 celssius I had no problems. I cannot judge the attriction. The ADAC test from 2008 show that the attriction is average. I'm happy to have Barum Bravuris 2 and think that it is a very good tyre for such price. I drove about 3 thousand miles on these tyres, but so far Bravuris 2 is doing surprisingly well, well keep in sharp bends, relatively quiet, I drive quite aggressively, and Bravuris is doing really well. To sum up Bravuris is the most worthy of recommendation for city driving, an adequate value to quality, but on the track I would recommend something from high shelf. I'd give 4.5 in scale of 1 to 5. This the 3rd set of Barum tyres I have brought and each of the other 2 sets have given 15000-20000 miles. They have a good tread pattern and grip in the wet and have had no problems in below freezing temperatures either. Good grip in the summer months as well . Road noise is good and on par with the top brand tyres. I would recommend these tyres and they are made by continental. Read more Collapse

I bought Barum Bravuris (195/60R15) one year ago for my Nissan Primera (2.0, 133MPH) and I am very happy with them. Advantages are: very good price/quality ratio. Very good grip on wet and dry road. Low noise level. I can certainly recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

excellent tire comfortable. Quiet, great cushioning and ability to absorb road roughness. Stable and secure grip powerful cornering. Excellent braking grip. Even in the wet, good braking stability and grip. Really very satisfied. Note the shoulder of the tire (not mounted on the rim) very soft tires compared to more famous and more rigid, but certainly much less comfortable and inviting. With Bridgestone Turanza for example I had a very high grip, hard rubber, but at least the road ditch or depression was shaking in the car. With the Barum Bravuris 2 I have a comfort and an exceptional driving comfort, it seems to have the new suspension. it being understood the feeling of rubber stable, precise and good road holding. Definitely not a rubber "qualifying time on track" but for road use also dynamic and sporty is terribly fun and safe. Now we monitor mileage. if you make at least 40,000 km will be forever my tires (at competitive price ..), on 'purchase of a set of tires I saved hundred Euro compared to other tires. Good to Barum. Belle these Barvuris 2. Great job! Read more Collapse

ridden two sets of these tires from the news durability of these tires is very flimsy fast it consumes, now I Dębice presto 2 and is a whole lot better but louder drove to the 29 thousand miles it for Baruma was unreal besides what the opinions of the August sticks to asphalt? crap! This tire for wet breaks the adhesion and behaves unpredictably, slush, wet snow is for the tires due to tread sculpture of real drama !! Zero grip !! This is a strictly summer tire !! the only thing with these opinni I concluded that it is more subjective opinions here, and so is in our country that everyone praises what he has, and buys something better as it changes its views as gloves, all proposing to buy presto 2 similar price and better wiejkszosc parameters (well, maybe except the parameters wyssanymi finger ADAC) End my opinion: they are certainly cheaper and better tire once it was worth the money, at the present day the next set would no longer buy because they are better products. Tires rather average but at a good price. Most pissed me is that a month after the purchase of a set of tires associated with one of them appeared bubble on the sidewall. August could not fix it and the manufacturer did not consider the complaint. Unfortunately, I had to at their own expense to buy one additional tire. As I was later told 'oponiarz "Barumy have problems with poor sidewall tires and bubbles appear one = ę even after driving over a curb mismanagement. In addition, the tires pretty average well on wet and dry, they are quite loud - did not notice it at first but when I changed wheels for winter surprise me a bit that Frigo 2 are quieter. It's hard to recommend it at this price because we buy better Cormorants gamma b2 which seem to be a much better design ... Read more Collapse

I drive every day to work and work. Daily I can do about 150 km in the city and highways, except once a week trip to Polish and back (about 1300 km) very good tires stick to the road, both on dry and wet asphalt I had no problem with them, are quiet and nicely presented, despite the high profile does not "put" in the corners. Abrasion and resistance to damage very good shape in city traffic (high curbs or abrasions upstand tires). On the surface looser work perfectly with the car, are predictable and harmless the larger obstacles. With all due respect for the manufacturer recommend these tires for every car that drives much in difficult conditions, while maintaining decent traction and high comfort. Read more Collapse

On these tires drove 67439km (five seasons). Why the exact mileage? Expenditure statistics lead one of the websites and calculated a distance that drove them. In general I am calm driver, try not to drive faster than 120km / h (even on the highway), in learned to ride a "green wave". Well, but to shore. I have no objections to them when it comes to traction on dry and wet roads. But as I wrote before, this may be due to driving style. My fundamental remark concerns the stability of the tire. Assuming it on the rim after the (tire) run 48848km noticed that the tire is hard, quite strong grated, and having numerous cracks. Read more Collapse

In my opinion, the tire is sensational and really recommendable. Due to the low profile feels a little bumps in the road (potholes, cobblestones) in the steering and car body but tragically it is not. You could say that it is impossible to sustain;) Besides this small inconvenience (but there is nothing surprising here because the profile of the tire is low for our beautiful road) this tire performs great. Despite the passing year a little more than 20 thousand km tread wear is minimal. A car cornering grip on dry and wet roads is exemplary. You really can go crazy;) One word RECOMMEND tire.
