Atlas Tires Sport Green

I bought Atlas Tires Sport Green because of a good ranking place in the German magazine Auto World. I didn't know until the end what I was buying to be honest, but now after the season I can tell confidently that those tires are really cool. Either or dry or wet surfaces the ABS did not activate, and I brake often and very sharply. They stick very well on dry and wet roads. My driving style is aggressive, My car is rear wheel drive with almost 200 HP. The tyres at the front are almost like new, and the once on the back I think during 2 seasons and about 10 000 miles the tread thickness disappeared around 3mm only. I think this is a good result. As for the ride comfort on such size, it is not the same as for example on 15 inch tyres but I'm satisfied with it. Now I'm planning to buy 18 inch wheels and tires that will be for sure Atlas Tires Sport Green too. I recommend them to all. There is no need to overpay for most popular brands. Hello to everybody :) I bought Atlas Tires Sport Green in August, suggested by a high position in Auto World magazine test and I don't regret the purchase. They perform well on dry and with flying colours on wet and damp roads. I'm using on my other car Rainsports by Uniroyal tires but I have to admit that theu are a lot louder than Atlas Tires Sport Green. There wasn't any problem with balancing. My fitter added just 35g makeweight per side. I sincerely recommend them. I had unnecessary doubts that those Chinese tyres won't be as good as even used tyres from premium manufacturers. I hadn't got any problems travelling over 130 MPH on German Autobahns. Tyres are fairly quiet and they swallon sharp conrens with confidence. Before I bought Atlas Tires Sport Green I'd read tests conducted on the road by independent organizations. They have rated those tyres among the best in road holding and braking on wet surfaces, with excellent results even higher than brands from top of the range. In dry conditions they have a great grip, even when cornering. They are mounted on a station wagon, and even with my sporty driving style there wasn't any kind of loss of grip of the vehicle. I think that Atlas Tires Sport Green are perfect choise for those not willing to pay extra just for the brand. For their price you can now buy 4 instead of only 2 new tyres and by satisfied with having whole new set which is more safe for you or your family. If you ask me.. I recommend them. I drive mostly around the city, but sometimes I use highways when going abroad. Speeds around 120 MPH in C-Max, didn't make much of an impression on Atlas Tires Sport Green. I havn't encountered any suspicious or disturbing behavior. The ride is confident. The greater noise when travelling faster is caused by mirrors and just a bigger car than the tyre inselfes. In the rain on the highway or on a country road they performed well. Driving around the city does not show any disadvantages or faults of Atlas Tires Sport Green. I have always been a skeptic about budget tires, but now I prefer such tires beause of the guarantee and safety reasons for me and my family that couldn't be provided by a few years old, used tyres with unknown history. What to expect from a tyre in a bargain price? Well, nothing bad. The Atlas Tires Sport Green does well on both good and bad roads, on dry and also when it's rainingt. Losing grip when the ASC is switched off by is at the same level as in premium brands. My cas has around 200 horse power. Usually I'am changing tyres every 10 000 miles because of my driving style. I have done over 3500 miles so far on Atlas Tires Sport Green and I don't see any traces of excessive wear. I don't know how to evaluate the rolling resistance and noise, but the ride comfort on this 18 inch tyre, even on lowered suspension is very decent. In my opinion these tyres are as good as the Michelin tyres my car was standard fitted with if not better. The Michelin are 232 quid each whereas the Atlas are 57! And theyrevlasting longer already. Highly recommended and will 100% buy again! Read more Collapse
