In the dry they are perfectly okay - but due to the hardness of the rubber they perform very poorly in the wet. Negotiating wet roundabouts and accelerating from standstill frequently induces wheel spin causing the anti skid system to kick in. They provide a satisfactory level of performance in the dry but are very poor in the wet, especially on roundabouts - to the point of giving no confidence at all. The tire works well when driving in the summer, but when winter snaps before changing tires for winter also cope well in difficult conditions allowing the safe return home or access to replacement tires for winter :) I do not ride competitively, but in a slightly field conditions such as deep mud or sand on the road 'mine' tires excel very well. Very decent tires. I ride mostly outside the city, at high speed quieter than expensive competitors. I have a heavy car and the wet when heavy braking is not the tires that stop the car in place.
