Avon tyres originate from The United Kingdom. The company's history starts in the end of the 19th century. In 1997 the brand became a part of the American Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. 205/80 R16 Tyres

205/80 R16 tyres are installed in 4x4s (often in off-road cars and SUVs) as well as delivery vehicles. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall. The first number informs about the tread width of the tyre and it is provided in millimetres. In the case of the 205/80 R16 tyres it equals 205 mm. The second number equals the tyre profile's height and its percentage ratio to the tyre's tread width, meaning, e.g., 80% out of 205 mm. The third number provides in inches the diameter of the wheel rim on which the 205/80 R16 tyre should be installed while the "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
