The Nokian Line offers superb handling in changeable Polish weather conditions, and its outstanding steerability and grip guarantee safe driving on both dry and wet roads. The Finnish brand has incorporated a range of innovative solutions into the tyre, including Cross-Block Sipes and Swoop Grooves, which improve steerability and grip. The Nokian Line was designed for high-output vehicles, and its superb performance combined with high levels of stability and driving precision will delight any driver looking for a tyre which delivers more than merely correct road handling.
The tyre is manufactured using the intelligent Nokian Silica compound, which maintains its characteristics over a wide range of temperatures and generates less heat during driving, resulting in an extremely slow rate of tyre wear. The tyre also features a tread wear indicator which means that its condition can be checked accurately. The Nokian-patented DSI tread wear indicator means that wear values can be read even more easily. The tyre features an asymmetric tread which helps to disperse water and maintain maximum grip, even on very wet roads. The flexible double block support on the outer shoulder ensures driving precision and improves driving comfort when going round corners, at the same time as guaranteeing driving safety in dynamic road situations.
Nokian is an independent Finnish tyre manufacturer founded in 1932 in the city of Nokia, and is a subsidiary of the famous mobile phone manufacturer. The company currently manufactures tyres for passenger cars, lorries, buses and specialist industrial vehicles. Nokian's flagship products are its winter tyres, which are designed for challenging Scandinavian winters. This makes them very popular among Polish drivers, who frequently face similar road conditions. The company sells most of its products abroad, and its main export markets are Russia, North America and Eastern Europe.

i had a garage look at the tyres within a week of fitting them as the traction control kept activating when cornering. It was suggested that a poorly cured rubber may be the problem as there were obvious signs of the tread 'feathering'. It was suggested that this may have caused the traction control to activate as the cars brain would think that the car was skidding when cornering.
Now, 9,000 miles in....the wear has shown heavily at the centre and inside edge of the tyre. I check pressures regularly (they are not over inflated) and the tracking has been checked and is fine. Shockingly, today I discovered the tyre wire is now showing, making theatres both illegal and dangerous. Not confidence inspiring for a family car.
Very poor quality tyre.....the worst I've had, even when compared to some real budget tyres purchased a few years back.
Nokian Line was bought and fitted in April 2013. First 300 miles was very unstable and I felt like floating. After beating 300 miles Nokian Line became quite silent and comfortable, but without excitation. Good behaviour on straight and bands on dry and wet. Less stable on bands, efficient on dry. Generally soft and comfortable but without sport character. And now the best part: after making 15000 miles in one season with 70-80 mphs tread at 6mm but in the rear 3.5mm. Nokian Line is a premium class with one season durability. Total failure despite the good things I’ve written at the beginning. I have driven different tyres like: Yokohama, Dunlop, Goodyear and even Fulda on the same car. I guess that the manufacturer mixed up the compounds: he gave winter mixture instead of summer. If you like to buy one season tyre – consider Nokian Line.
Nokian Line isn’t nor hard nor soft. If it comes for starting, braking and corner taking I see this Nokian Line as a decent one for wet and dry road. When taking bands aggressively Nokian Line bend a Little bit not Losing grip at the same time. Resuming: I’d recommend Nokian Line to drivers with calm driving style. Any case, the ride is pleasant and sure. The best tyres I have been driving in summer season so far. I need to mention that I have reached some advices from Oponeo’s staff. So far in both summer and winter season, they know what they are doing. I highly recommend – I intend to use this shop and their opinion still.
Nokian Line is sensational, wide grooves make very good drainage, even entering into a puddle. On bands, the car is glued to the asphalt, and there is no question of falling off track or slip, violent bypass obstacles or avoid falling into the hole does not cause major problems and the car is stable, keep track driving in extreme conditions, even in the pouring rain, at the end I will add that I changed to winter tires very late, it happened that I rode on them at 2-3 degrees and did not noticed disturbing to keep the car, greet and recommend this tire
One of the Best tyres I have used so far. Brand tyres in a decent price with very good road abilities. I’ve noticed that Nokian Line absorbs better than Barum. After beating 1300 miles you will not see the wear on Nokian Line. At the beginning I had some difficulties getting used to silence, as I was using economic class tyres before. I haven’t noticed any worrying behaviours while using Nokian Line in different road conditions. In another words: very good tyres that I recommend to everybody who wants to have a brand product at a low price.
