Michelin Agilis

Information on the tyre:

Economic, durable and safe - this is what the Michelin AGILIS tyre for vans is known for. With its unique rubber compound, it reduces fuel consumption, and hence contributes to more economical driving. The tyre is also very safe - the designers took care to minimise the braking distance, which is to reduce wet braking distances by 3 meters (compared with older models of Michelin tyres).

The model is featured with a symmetrical tread. This classical pattern provides a balanced performance on dry and wet surfaces. Wide grooves quickly drain water and prevent aquaplaning. The tyre uses a number of advanced technologies that provide more economical driving and better performance. The Durable Contact Patch system, which was borrowed from Michelin truck tyres, allows for a more rectangular surface contact with the ground. This provides better control of the vehicle at high load, typical for vans. This technology also helps to reduce friction, and along with the modern rubber compound, makes Michelin Agilis more resistant to ware and has a longer longevity. The rubber compound delivers superior performance in a wide range of temperature conditions, ensuring optimal grip when occasionally used in mud or snow, on dirt tracks or in other difficult driving conditions. They maintain a superior grip, even when worn. In addition, the tyre’s robustness results from its reinforced, dual-casing architecture, that allows for higher tyre pressure, and protected sidewalls. Each sidewall features eight protective shields that increase kerb impact resistance.

Michelin is one of the leading tyre manufacturers in the world. These products are of the highest performance and best quality , therefore they are ranked as premium class tyres. The company - in addition to its own brand - includes companies such as Michelin, Kleber, BFGoodrich, Riken, Taurus, Kormoran, Tigar, Euromaster, Recamic, Warrior and Saimtyre. The company specialises in the development of HP and UHP tyres.

Two years old and 16k of light use these were doing great with loads of tread left then all four went so far out of shape that they could not be balanced. Steering shaking so much at low speed that they have to be binned. What went wrong? Michelin have failed to respond to my emails and there is no telephone number ring. No answer from the manufacture and I have seen other reviews saying the same. Read more Collapse

tyres surprise. Founded on MB Sprinter 209CDI, autko "donkey" lack of speed .., :) summer tyre, and happens winter ride around the city - has got better than many a winter tyre from a low shelf. It is known as the gas is pressed into the floor each exchange, but if the technique is good and the ride is an experience you can flit around the city. As for braking :) .. as the summer :) Read more Collapse

I rode buses more than 1.1 million km. for different tyres. Subjectively the best in the category strength, abrasion (2 compl Michelin conti = 3), the best behavior on the wet asphalt. Tyre very stable - it does not swing on bends. Quiet. The road to buy but secure, safe and comfortable. Since when boss buys Michelin driving is less stressful. Read more Collapse

At the beginning I would go to and tyres Pirelli Chrono did not survive the season! When it comes to Michelin in the Sprinter well suited. I have a 4-wheel drive and a powerful engine. For Pirelli did not all 50 thousand. Agilis I have a second set of already did his Mercedes over 250 thousand km. I would recommend them to buy pawno! Read more Collapse

We drove on tyres 160.000km in the commercial vehicle and do not admit that they are imported loads and at the same time the course is one of the back shot, torn up. Could have enough tread for 1 season. I note that rode on the tyre for all seasons. Read more Collapse

The difference in the price of the cheapest is not so big, but a huge difference in the ride, of course, a plus. Noise, abrasion, braking, ride in the rain, safety. (Sense and imagination does not replace any tyre or any system) Regards. Read more Collapse
