Tyre details:

The Dębica Presto is the ideal tyre for variable, Polish conditions. Excellent performance on wet surfaces and a reliable driving experience on dry roads are just two of its assets. The model's asymmetric tread easily handles any road surface. The dense network of sipes on the tread helps quickly disperse water from under the tyre, while the special silica-based rubber compound ensures track stability, even in surprising and variable weather conditions. This Polish-made product not only offers driving comfort in any weather, but also ensures a long lifetime thanks to the advanced construction of the tyre, tested multiple times at different stages of its design and production.

The use of innovative and durable materials means that the Dębica Presto is very resistant to mechanical damage, with a longer lifetime compared with other tyres of the same class. The tread wears slowly and evenly, which means that the model maintains its full performance features throughout its lifetime. The slow tread wear is not only due to the reinforced rubber compound, but also the specially designed tyre contours, which means that pressure is distributed evenly across the road surface, guaranteeing the same level of tread wear at every point of the tyre. The reinforced shoulder area, combined with the asymmetric tread pattern ensures optimal performance on dry surfaces, while the 4-ribbed construction with a dual central rib allows for fast and accurate responses to steering movements.

Dębica S.A. is a Polish brand dating back to 1939. Its name comes from the city in the Podkarpackie province where the company has had its headquarters and production plant from the very beginning. The brand, which became part of the American Goodyear group in 1995, has been popular with Polish drivers for many years. As well as tyres for passenger cars, Dębica also produces industrial tyres and, as the only Goodyear plant in Europe, tyres for tractors and agricultural machinery.

NB! The treads on two sizes of Dębica Presto tyres are due to change from 1 January 2014.

This modification affects sizes 195/65 R15 91H and 195/65 R15 91V.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I was not convinced to Dębica Presto, however the tyres salesman (Oponeo) ensured the quality, I didnt believe the opinions of sellers but, strangely his opinion was confirmed in daily use of a car. I was concerned about the rapid attrition of the tyres becouse of the previous model Debica (passio), which was below the critical value. However, the company (dębica) was able to repair the fault and the Dębica Presto tyre for me is sensational value for money. The car goes like its been glued to the road,on wet surface a little less but still within normal limits. The biggest surprise was the comfort of riding on the pot holes (which can be very tiring), the biggest downside is the rolling sound, its louder than its predecessor, but it is not so tiring - at least for me. My previous Michellin Pilot tyres are from the higher shelf than Dębica Presto but characteristics are similar for me. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Im using the Dębica Presto tyres for two years now so I can say something about them. Distance I traveled on them is about 20 thousand. km in the summer :). The tyre behave very good on dry and on wet surface, after around a year of use on the front axle there is a noticeable decrease in adhesion on wet roads. Several times I was unpleasantly surprised when I was trying to start quickly from the roundabout and the tyres were spinning. The car has only 100 hp and its an automatic, so I was suprised even more (In the first year there was no such problem. After 2 years of use on the front axle 5,5 mm of tread left - so not the best.In this season the tyres will go on the back. The Dębica Presto tyres are worthy command for the people who prefer the calm driving style, but its good to change them after 2 years of using. Read more Collapse

I did few miles on the Dębica Presto already, I live far away from the city and the road does not always allow for a comfortable ride, but these tyres perform fantastically well,in the city in particular. If anyone knows hows the driving in the big cities such as Birmingham looks, he will know how much tyres suffer from certain streets with lots of pot holes . Generally, the noise does not bother me, but these Dębica Presto tyres are much more quiet compared to the previous tyres I had (I do not remember which brand was it).I recommend the Dębica Presto tyres for a long jurneys. They behave very good in the corners as well as on the wet and dry surface. I do not know hows other tyres behave on the road in this price range, but Dębica Presto makes a good feeling while driving. I have owned them since the first days of spring this year, used them almost every day and often on long distances and Im very happy with Dębica Presto. I travel often aggressively and quickly and the tyres stick to the road on a dry and wet conditions almost identical. You can go into corners at a high speed - no worries. The noise level is normal so you do not hear them much, only the wind with open windows. The abrasion is very good, since I bought the Dębica Presto the tyre lost1mm of tread. Overall very recommendable tyre. Read more Collapse

I have used the Dębica Presto almost the entire summer season so about 9.000 km (auto Mazda 626) and I can not say a bad word about them.Im driving mostly in the city, but also outside the cityand sometimes on highways and they are not failed me once. The handling on dry and wet is very good and you have full control over the car. They are fairly quiet and the abrasion is very good (about 1 mm after 1 season),they look ok and the price is good too - in my case around 30GBP per tyre. In my view, it makes no sense to overpay and buy the more expensive, more reputable tire. Overall im very pleased with Dębica Presto tyre. Read more Collapse

Very quiet, no humming or rumbling even at high speeds. On dry the Dębica Presto behaviour is sensational, on wet they swerve a bit on larger bends, but generally are fine. After driving about 3500 miles I didn't notice any tyre wear. Most of tyre drawbacks are related to bad condition of the car's suspension. I recently read a review thatafter changing tyres to Michelins the guy felt like he changed the car to a higher class one... I think it's a waste of money... I also have Debica Frigo 2s on winter and it's fine. Although I used Pirellis, Dunlops and Fuldas, I think Debica Presto is definitely the same quality. Read more Collapse

I bought these Dębica Presto tyres and almost immediately set of for a 3000 miles journey to Bulgaria and back. Debica Presto replaced Continentals and I didn't notice any noise level increase or loss of traction. The tyres have awesome grip on both dry and wet (tested on winding Romanian roads). Moreover, so far I never managed to have ASR and ABS been switched on, and it happened before when I used Continentals! The price is the best out of all tyres competing in this price range. Why should we get more expensive tyres? Debica Presto is definitely worth recommending! Read more Collapse

Cheap and good tyres, is that possible? Yes! Dębica Presto - because its good and cheap! - no need to pay a lot more for other branded tyres when you can drive safely and comfortably for much less money. In fact it didnt rain so much this year , so I cant tell hows the tyres behave on the wet. The attrition is probably the weakest point of the Dębica Presto , but if someone uses the car normally and prefer the calm driving style, the tyre is certainly enough for 4-6 seasons.Dębica Presto tyres are highly recommendable. After the experience with the tire Bridgestone Turanza ER300 where after a period of approximately 30 months and the distance of 70.000 km they start to wobble and had to send them back to the manufacturer. In response to warranty claim the manufacturer wrote that this is the result of exploitation.I have purchased Dębica Presto which I think is the very good value for money and I will use them until the exchange because of the depth of the tread.I can highly recommend the Dębica Presto tyre. Good, decent tyre for a reasonable price.Dębica Presto compared to Goodyear Excellence, I don't feel the difference. On dry they behave properly, I can't complain. Quiet, has low abrasion, low rolling resistance, good traction on straights and in the corners. They don't spin during starting (in a VW Golf TDI 110 HP). On wet Dębica Presto behave a little worse, but they're still fine, no surprises, still very quiet. I did about six thousand miles on them, the size is 195/65R15. Read more Collapse

The Dębica Presto can slip in dry conditions, the ESP has a lot of work. For the first season I have used the Presto it was not noticeable. The advantage is very low tread wear (Version V) and relatively low noise levels, even though I get the impression that the new winter tires are more quiet (Nokian WR A3). In the rain Dębica Presto behave quite well. Running into a large puddle at high speed does not make much of a problem for the tyres and braking. Read more Collapse

Debica Presto is a very quiet tyre, provides excellent traction both on dry and wet pavement0. Braking on dry or wet makes ABS workless, it doesn't have to switch on. Every corner gives a sence of confidence in the chosen direction, a sense of security and quality that can se simply sensed. What is interesting, they were manufactured in France. Previously I used Michelin Energy Savers which can;t even be compared to Prestos :) Read more Collapse

I use a company car, which is a Peugeot 207 1.4 HDI. I don't recommend these tyres to anyone, I had these tyres fitted by the company. After 28 thousand miles they couldn't be balanced. The car swerves above 65 MPH, the tyres are very loud and hard! In temperatures above 8-9 degrees they start to behave like you drove on ice. I am warning you, do not buy Debica Presto tyres. Quiet tires, low rolling resistance, good grip on straights and in the corners. The don't cause significant changes in traction on wet, absorb bumps very well. No problems with balancing. Opinion from outside the UK

Dębice Presto bought into their two cars. The one I have the size 195/60 R15, while in the second I have 195/60 R15. Within a year I drive an average of 20 thousand. km, mainly tour outside the city, highway. Tires I can definitely recommend all users. I drove earlier in Firestonach, Kleberach or Daytonach and I can say with full responsibility that our Dębice Presto in no way inferior to competitors. When it comes to driving on dry asphalt to hold very well the dynamic curves can be overcome also does not have any problems. On the highway at a speed of 190-200 km / h also excel flawlessly. There is no problem with noise. Tires are stable, auto very confident to drive. I have some "but" about the behavior of the tires in the wet. If the road is flat, as even on the highway, there is no problem. On the other hand you have to keep an eye on the sections where there are potholes, ruts and inequalities, because on such roads by driving in a greater amount of water likes to accuse car, a bit to download them. I do not like it to end, because you have to be careful and do not know when the tire will cut a "nice" surprise. Over the engineers have to work on. But for the price it does not complain and there is nothing to look for tire company. I have not found excessive wear and ride either alone (rarely), and from a family with a small child, a stroller and a lot of luggage. I am fully satisfied and I think we can be really proud of this product. Read more Collapse

I'm currently finishing 4 season riding on these tires, I drove about 30 thousand. km and I can say objectively what it is. Let me start by saying that my driving style, despite weak car is aggressive. For the first 3 seasons which is about 20 several thousand. km on both dry and wet everything was ok, I could not say a bad word, so then started to happen very strange things with the tires. Just that falls a few drops of rain and almost every time you turn on abs braking, and the traction wheels are spinning in place, it happens even sometimes when changing from 1 to 2 gear. Entering faster in turn puts the car sideways .. In addition, they generate tire noise has become unbearable already, even at speeds below 100km / h, are definitely louder than my winter Yokohama. Fortunately, I did not notice that the handling characteristics of tires deteriorated in dry conditions, was and is fine. So to sum up, the tire retains its properties for about 20 - 25 thousand. km, good for people riding more calmly. Overall I would recommend, although I will look for something better for the new season. Read more Collapse

Really positive surprise. I always thought of dośwadczenia that summer tires Debica were poor. For winter tires I gained confidence in this company and others never buy. But back to the Presto. Compared to the Barum Bravuris 2, which now went to the rear axle, Debica is better in every wględem (of which it is not difficult because these are the worst tires barumy what I had) are quieter, much more predictably lead in corners (on barumach I turn and after a while response - here it is not) better attenuation inequality. Ryde is very resilient and yet not too soft, comfortably beat the hole. I was previously in the same Bridgestone Turanza ER300 car - tires harder, giving far more reliable operation and performance at the expense of comfort and, unfortunately, abrasion and durability of the total because pretty soon you could see cracks rubber. We'll see how over time but I'm impressed - the first summer tire Debica. which is really good! (Passio it was crap ..). I just hope it will not be ząbkowała because he has enough open tread. With more dynamic reloaded or thrown into second gear like squeak, but no tragedy. Previous tires behave the same, and maybe even a little worse in this respect. On wet surfaces behave properly. Definitely worse than rainsportów2. When braking in total give advice, but in tight corners better be careful. The tires are pretty quiet, both on smooth tarmac and rough. Comfort tires in size 195/50 hard to assess, but the side wall are harder than rainsporty2. I wrote this review in less than three thousand. miles, so it's hard to say something about attrition and how the tires will behave for 10 or 20 thousand. miles. If someone does not require miracles are sure to be pleased with these tires. Regards Read more Collapse

Very good value for money. The tire persists previously used C.Drive Yokohama. It seems less to keep the wet but maybe it's just a subjective evaluation to slip because of security reasons I tried not to bring. Rolling resistance gave rated 4 because after a long drive (when heated) car does not slide with a small rise, eg. Under the lights like on cold tires, although it's hard for me to say whether the fault of the tires and such. Bearings. Durability shall not judge, on Yokohamach did approx. 50 thousand. for in Debica Furio 80 thousand. and I have not yet got to the marker. for those only 15 thousand. and they look almost like new. Fuel consumption on the route (highway approx. 95 km / h highway 140 km / h) 5.8 - 5.9 l / 100km so as to my Mazda very economically. Read more Collapse

The tire Debica Presto 185/60 R14 bought on sale for the 2014 vintage 560zł when it comes to quality to price ratio that is very high. The new tire has a very high tread more than 9mm. As far as advantages: - good drainage and good traction on wet surfaces -very quiet (68db) when changing from winter I can already hear only the engine :) -trwałość tire at a high level Cons: -opory rolling are high, my burning when changing winter tires to summer have not changed cornering created can not go very fast, compared to Yokohama winter tires, but that's another class of tires so do not be surprised, overall grip is at a very high level. Summing up when it comes to the budget class with a clear conscience recommend, if I compare them to Debica stripes 2, you are much better. Read more Collapse

Everyone was reborn as me Debica and reviews on the internet of what turned out that 80% of the negatives had never uzytkowalo this tire. I took a chance and it did not disappoint. The donuts bought a small price which already went through the tunnel of about 4000 thousand km. Tread is still as good as new nothing beats the tire pretty quiet for its price. On dry roads holding up well and on bends. Wet pavement skidding a bit small when starting so far this tire fared best compared with others to look after was using. I did not have any accident. The air does not go down well adjacent to the rim. Generally I recommend these donuts uses them in the city and along the route. Read more Collapse

I do not know where these positive reviews, this type of tire can be good for seicento and not to big powerful cars! The entrance to the roundabout with heavy traffic on wet roads FORGET! The addition of gas and tire despite its very high softness loses traction. I bought 4 tires, once driving to work a big fog, dark, and suddenly to my surprise the curb at a speed of 50km / h and a height of 4.5 cm curb tire 2 after moving shot. At speeds above 150 km / h and minor ruts like a car driving in the American films go straight and the steering wheel spin to the left and right. The only plus of this are quiet. Tyres to start the summer drove 3500 km distance from Polish to Croatia and back. Very well behaved on red-hot asphalt. They are characterized by short braking distances, good cornering grip and aesthetic, modern look. Rubber tires after driving 35000 km looks fresh and further can be seen on the news. I would recommend this model of tire. Of course I bought it, among others, because of the low price because the vehicle is moving, the value of which is about 7000 zł. Purchase a set of summer tires I was so 11% of the total value of my vehicle. I do not recommend those users more expensive tires and a more modern vehicles. Read more Collapse

Tires do not squeal, okay transmit engine power, the car runs confident, there is a tendency to drift side on curves or ruts, well disperse water. Throughout the period of exploitation I not lost the rear axle traction even on wet road driving fast on a curve (in moderation, this is not the high-performance tire). After driving 7 000 km tread wear can not see what is in all quite surprising at this price category. After the highways, you can drive confidently with speeds up 200 km / h and the car further remains remarkably stable. I would recommend to anyone who wants reliable, safe tires for a low price. I really was not disappointed in August as on dry and wet pavement are doing very well .... last year I used retreaded tires for small money. August in what turned into a car breakdown. As soon as I poured quite intense ... so decreed 2 times as much as I bought new tires (repair painting, etc..). man learns from the mistakes of the beholder ... :) no Debica tires are not terribly exorbitant cost ... and the quality is really at a decent level and beat on your head the better brand :) Read more Collapse

Pleasant, durable and not prohibitively expensive tyre. I drove on these Debice city (Lublin) and after long and high-speed routes (A4 from Rzeszow to Wrocka). Tire noise too low to assess it. Auto well sound proofed and its own, even quiet music. Unfortunately, during the stronger (but not in a panic) braking on wet kicked ABS. Keeping cornering correct giving a sense of security. For wet but not crazy; I see no point in flying fast cornering in the rain. The standard consumption or even lower than expected. If I buy a Xantii second time the tires would choose again the Dębice. Read more Collapse

I think the tires are highly recommendable for people looking for good quality at a reasonable price. Tires meet my expectations. Good traction on dry, several times I had to brake hard and passed the exam! On a wet autumn will come check them out. As for the noise to the average. Well, but for the money it is difficult to buy a quieter although it is not hard tire noises. Besides important parameter for me is its good adhesion. If I had to buy them again it would do it without hesitation. I recommend to all drivers of moderate and calm driving style. Read more Collapse

After driving the first kilometers I was pleasantly surprised. On dry asphalt hold in August sensational braking does not fall into the slip - cornering on average but still good for this type of tire. Pattern pretty modern for Dębice. After covering nearly 2000km not see signs of wear. I would recommend these tires especially for small cars - a lot of rolling resistance but in any case smaller than the other tires in this price category. Overall I would recommend. Tire ideal for mid-range car - especially for alloy wheels (adjusted construction tires). Performs well on asphalt and on paved roads - one mankament- riding a layer several centimeters of sand - but unfortunately even the VSA system is not working at the tread. When the price of the tire the more commendable that for branded and more expensive by about 100 zł per unit is about 5-6 decibels quieter - which in the long-time driving is really important. Well stick to the surface and are doing both on urban roads and in the route. Moisture also does not appear to be a problem.
