Nankang Snow Viva 2

3PMSF The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Nankang Snow Viva 2 tyres are available in the economy class, which means the combination of affordable price with good parameters and performance. The model is intended for winter use in passenger cars. It is distinguished not only by its very good driving properties in winter, but also by its ecological character. The rubber compound features reduced content of environmentally harmful hydrocarbons.

Winter tyres Nankang Snow Viva 2 have a directional tread pattern which makes for very proper behaviour on changing winter surfaces. The model is equipped with dense notches and sipes that ensure an excellent grip on a surfaces which may be wet or covered with ice and snow. During a thaw, when the roads are covered of water or slush, Nankang Snow Viva 2 also handles faultlessly. Its structure includes long grooves that effectively drain any excess water or slush from the tyre surface, making it adhere to the road and, thus, preventing the loss of control over the vehicle. The risk of dangerous winter phenomena such as aquaplaning or skidding on snow are therefore considerably reduced. With their design, the tyres also support a shorter braking distance, safe driving on bends and manoeuvring, making the drive more comfortable and effective even in tough winter conditions. The compound used in the tyres is enriched by silica, which helps maintain the product parameters even in strong frosts. Furthermore, the composition features a reduced amount of toxic hydrocarbon compounds, so Nankang Snow Viva 2 tyres are less harmful to the environment and are characterised by a lower rolling resistance, which additionally limits the fuel consumption.

Nankang Snow Viva 2 is a solution for economical drivers who value good products at reasonable prices. With their parameters, the tyres provide the drivers with safety and comfort of driving, both in the daily use and during long journeys.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have used nankang snow viva 2 for the second winter season on my Skoda Superb 2 (170HP 2.0TDI DSG). These are very good winter tyres for the money I have paid. I have used those tyres in low as well as high snow, slush and during the rain. They excel on dry roads, and I would suggest they underperform in the wet, as with each winter tyre (as we know, winter tyres do not like rain). I drove about 10 thousand kms on these tyres. I went to Slovakia in the mountains where lorries rolled into the drifts in blizzards and Nankang's performed. I was very pleased with the quality of nankang snow viva 2. From what I noticed you can use these tyres for years. I think they are perfect for 3, maybe 4 seasons at max. I would recommend them to someone who drives a lot in winter time and cares about the whole performance and safety. That is why the tyre provides sufficient grip, precise control and protection against aquaplaning in the winter conditions. Read more Collapse

As I said, a great price and a great tyre, and great value-for-money, not only for winter tyres. Last summer I bought the Oponeo Nankang Snow Viva 2 and I am pleased with those. I had little to do with this brand. I am very happy I picked that brand. The next choice is probably the Nankang Snow Viva 2. Again, I will buy those from Oponeo. In addition I have to pay attention to the professional and friendly customer service at Oponeo. Although the purchase of winter tyres in the summer is unusual kind of service, the gentleman caller checked their availability for me. In addition, he assured me that they will send the tyres as soon as they will have them in stock! It's a very big plus, I might add that other traders do not have such an approach. I have checked it personally. Therefore thank you again for tyres! Read more Collapse

I use these tyres for about half a year. I bought them last winter and I didn't change them for the spring or summer time. I drove approx. 7km on them. I am very positively surprised. Previously I had Michelin. After the change, first thing I have noticed was the difference in the noise level. Nankang Snow Viva 2 are extremely quiet and they look good! Once I drove to the mountains. I have no problems with driveways, moving off or braking. As a rule, I do not change the tyres for summer or winter tyres. All year I use only winter tyres and frankly said I do not see much difference! nor any excessive abrasion or extra noise. For the second car I will purchase the same ! I would recommend Nankang Snow Viva 2 for everyday driving. We'll see how they will perform after a few years? Read more Collapse

if you do not want to overpay for "brand" tyres then buy nankang snow viva 2, I have two sets, summer/winter and I cannot say a bad word about them, they have proven themselves in all conditions. In the dry they are ok, but in wet snow, slush they have performed very well. Besides it is really quiet (certainly quieter than normal), so dilemmas aside, the tire has sold in the west and your order gets distributed from a reliable warehouse in Germany, so really there is nothing to be afraid about. Just be glad that Nankang Viva Snow 2 are available on the market at a good price Read more Collapse

The tire is very cheap, so there is nothing to complain about, but I was expecting a bit more. On dry surface tyre is really cool, the tyres cope with wet surface very well. When the snow appears, or God forbid ice, you will find the explain for a low price. If I lived in southern Europe, probably I would be happy. I bought it for occasional trips, because it’s not really a winter tyre for me, but it turns out that I could save money and use the sommer ones. I would like to add only at the end, that my size is 225/45 R17. Perhaps the narrower tread perform better. Read more Collapse

By purchasing these tyres I was wondering if Nankang Snow Viva 2 was a good choice. After driving a few thousand miles on pure asphalt and snow, I can say that my fears were unfounded. The tyres are firstly quieter than the summer Goodyears. They perfectly hold both on asphalt and snow. Of course, in heavy snow starting and braking sometimes is difficult but it is normal situation. For me it is natural in those conditions. In conclusion, I sincerely recommend Nankang Snow Viva 2 to everyone. These tyres are brilliant! You can buy them without any worries. Read more Collapse

Hello, tires moves on the 17” Renault Megane Grandtour GT Line. Although the purchase of enough budget for a 17” tyre I hope that it will be plain crap to withstand winter. Earlier I drove with winter tyres GeForce BFGoodrich in the same size 205/17/50 and I see no difference. Tire nice, quiet and above all very well behaved on the road. Consumption has not increased, the tire grips the road well. I would recommend. Read more Collapse

For this price very good tyres, quiet, did not hear them, well break, very rarely turn on ABS, only to hit the underside of the ice, I thought, that ABS broke down. I can not see any signs of wear. The only drawback, he likes to collect small stones, but with such a sensationally tread brake. As well keep the car perfectly on the curves and even dynamic speeding keep the way perfectly. Recommend. Read more Collapse

As for Asian product (not Chinese) very good tyres. Successfully can be categorized into the middle class (they are in the budget). Quiet enough, good grip but I belive that the driver’s consideration during the winter time is more important than a really good winter tyres ... The tyre is fantastic, it runs properly on the water and snow, also keeps on the curves and there is no way the car would loose the traction, the only drawback is the noise you can hear in the range of 50 to 70 mph. Tire cool car runs well, stops, turns, but the product leaves much to be desired, guys in the workshop have a huge problem with balancing these tires and after about a thousand kilometers had to be re-balance the translate like. For a few weeks, the situation repeats itself and I was thinking that the workshop that I have a problem with the suspension shakes when braking because the left side of the curve if the target was, it turned out that the fault of the tire and is not suitable for driving because it is shapeless, I saw with my own eyes when mounted 160 g load was balanced tire but unfortunately it did not help anything after changing to summer tires, everything changed any noise bicia.chyba have curves molds for the production of these tires do not recommend. Very poor tyre! It's too soft and too limp (no stiffness). Performs fairly well in dry conditions, but the attrition is very high. In Snow, the White way, the traction and braking behaves badly, the slush and the rain does not keep on curves - you have to be very careful, ESP is what to do. The tyre behaves as if it were made of silicone, not good rubber. Terribly naciąłem to buy these tyres - not recommended!! Read more Collapse

They should prohibit their sale. After testing Nokian, Kumho, Michelin, Pirelli, Falken and Vredestein in the same vehicle, I can say without a doubt that they are the worst by far. I never got to do with any other tire skid my car (BMW 730d) dry. Better let alone wet, it is better to leave the car at home or circular less than 40 km / h and still continues moving. Tyres hopeless. They are very soft, so Squirming on the sides, do not keep track on the corners, easily break traction when accelerating. Oprowadzają poorly in the rain water. The snow to slide, low profile tyre bites into the snow, so if the white road, you have to have chains. More tyres this company will not buy. Read more Collapse
