Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact is a premium tyre which provides long mileage, fuel efficiency and confidence on both dry and wet surfaces . Engineers have reduced the weight of the tyre, which contributed to better rolling resistance. As a result, Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact provides lower fuel consumption, the tyre is also more eco-friendly due to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. Thanks to the specially designed tread, the tyre pressure on the surface is even, which helps maintain high performance throughout the model’s longevity.

EFFIGRIPCO

The tread pattern stands out with double wide circumferential grooves and transverse tubules, which quickly disperses water from under the tyre, providing a shorter braking distance and minimising the possibility of aquaplaning . For the production, the Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact uses an innovative mix of rubber, which has improved the surface of the tyre footprint and provided better traction regardless the state of the road. The model provides precise steering, therefore very well suited for driving in the city, during which they show their full potential. In addition, Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact means comfort and silence in the car, achieved through improved by a damping sounds design . Maximum performance and safety in all conditions are the parameters that make Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact appreciated by many drivers worldwide. The model is ideally suited to the extreme and variable weather conditions.

It's been a season since I bought my Goodyear Efficientgrip Compact so I think I can share my impressions about this purchase. When choosing my tyres, my main criteria were to get the best possible product at a relatively low price. After searching the Internet in this regard, I found out that oponeo.pl has the best price offer. I placed an order and was pleasantly surprised at the very beginning ;-) . It is worth mentioning that the delivery by courier is absolutely free. As far as the tyres themselves are concerned, I have to say that it was worth opting for a good brand like Goodyear. The Efficientgrip Compact, which was suitable for my car, proved to be the right choice because of its handling characteristics. During the first drive I could immediately notice that the tyres were much quieter than the previous ones. The car accelerated more easily due to the low rolling resistance. The car accelerated more easily due to the low rolling resistance, and it also traction is superb because the tyre profile provides good grip while cornering. The tyres also have the advantage of excellent water evacuation, which guarantees good grip when driving in the rain. After about 8-9,000 km on the tyres, I have not noticed any tendency to wear quickly. In a word, I recommend this model. Read more Collapse

After several thousand miles on various road surfaces, the tyre tread has remained practically unchanged (wear of about 1-1.5 mm). Despite the high sidewall, the tyre handles very well when cornering, both in wet and dry conditions. The rubber compound provides very comfortable handling and supports the suspension over uneven surfaces. It gives a feeling of safety in unexpected driving situations. I have the same opinion of this tyre in size 195/65/15, a set fitted to a Seat Alhambra. A perfect match with the stiffer suspension. Regarding rolling resistance, I'm disappointed as I haven't noticed any reduction in fuel consumption in either the Corsa or the Alhambra, which I do over 5000 km a month on similar routes. After changing winter tyres (also Goodyear but Ultragrip) there was no reduction in fuel consumption - I checked by refuelling in similar weather conditions, driving style etc. The on-board computer did not reduce average fuel consumption either. However, I have to admit that the low rolling resistance is noticeable from the start - the car has much lighter acceleration. Read more Collapse

When buying tyres, I spend a lot of time researching. I look for good tyres at an acceptable price. I never buy the cheapest tyres. Luckily, labels have been introduced, which has made the choice easier. I was looking for tyres with indexes A, B or possibly C on the label, and rather quiet tyres, i.e. up to 69dB. The choice fell on the Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact. The tyres are now in their second season after about 10,000 km. They fully live up to their label claim (Fuel consumption C, wet braking B, noise 68dB). They behave very well when braking on wet asphalt and are not noisy. It is difficult for me to comment on fuel consumption, as I drive mainly in the city. I recommend these tyres. The price is also ok. Alternatively, I would seriously consider buying other tyres - Continental ContiPremiumContact 5, due to its even better wet braking index - A, but I didn't see them on offer a year ago. Opinion from outside the UK

I bought the tyres this spring and drive in the city as well as on hilly and winding roads. I recommend the tyres are very good especially when the road surface is wet. The opinions I got before buying these tyres are rather true. I just think that there is no difference in fuel consumption as previous users of these tyres wrote. In my Citroën (previously on michaelin), the consumption is even higher, but it is about 0.5 l/100 km, so there is nothing to talk about. I would like to share one more observation, as for me, they are quite hard and do not dampen unevenness on the road, but I think and hope that this will make them more durable. To sum up, in the Bieszczady Mountains, both in the city and outside the city, the tyres are top five with a plus. The last sentence for "Oponeo" - a great company, reliable, fast and classy to do shopping with you :) I recommend. Read more Collapse

In the spring, I was faced with a difficult choice of new tyres for my car (the previous ones were only suitable for replacement after 2 seasons). When choosing new tyres, I was guided by the fact that I wanted to get the best possible product for a relatively low price. Above all, I was looking for durable tyres that provide the best possible performance for a reasonable price. It's been a season since I bought the Goodyear Efficientgrip Compact, so I think I can give my opinion on this purchase. Compared to previous tyres: +much quieter, +lower rolling resistance, +better grip on bends (thanks to the tyre profile), +handling in the rain (very good water evacuation) +low wear (after approx. 8,000 km I have not noticed excessive wear - by measuring the tread, with this kind of use, the tyres should last at least 3 more seasons). I have been using the tyres for six months and I have driven 11k km on them, so I cannot objectively assess their durability, but after this distance they look like new. They work very well, driving even on very heavy rain is not difficult - the car stays on course as if on autopilot. Tyres stick well to the ground, after changing from old, worn out Michelin tyres my wife said that driving is immediately different (in the sense of more pleasant), while the fuel consumption looks decent. It is not perfect when starting off, you can feel the resistance. Noise and such is normal - my car is not very well soundproofed, but the sound of rolling tyres does not cause headaches even after several hours of driving. Overall I recommend - you feel safe and comfortable after applying these goodyears ;) Read more Collapse

I am satisfied with these tyres, the car drives predictably. During rainy weather I was surprised by the aggressiveness of these tyres when braking. I can hear them a little, but this is probably due to the rough asphalt on which I drive to work every morning, on smooth tires this noise is gone. As for the wear, I can't say, because I have had them only since March and drove about 3 thousand km. I had the opportunity to drive them for 2 days in the snow (it happened to me in March) and they are not suitable for this, I almost fell off the road at an intersection while turning despite permanent 4-wheel drive. On wet and dry asphalt sensational, on snowy roads it is better not to drive on these tyres. Read more Collapse

I drive a lot, mainly on German motorways and our national roads, these tyres are really great, I have already more than once pulled out of trouble such as sudden braking in heavy rain, full control of the car, holding on in corners is poetry, I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and characteristics of these tyres and certainly this is not the end of the discovery of the possibilities of these tyres, since the date of purchase in April 2014, more than 20 000 km I can see only minimal wear on the front tyres but this is probably due to my driving style and not, I like to drive quietly my next tyre will be goodyear and probably the same model. Compared to the ones I bought the car with, there is no comparison, Finally going over 100/h I don't have to turn up the radio. Cornering grip is quite good in the dry as well as in the wet, at over 160/h they still grip nicely and changing lanes fairly quickly is not a problem. Despite my high centre of gravity there is no feeling of the car floating. I try not to drive faster, there are too many crazy people who think they can do everything, and a fancy car will do everything for them. After one season - more than 13 000 the wear on the tread is minimal. I am satisfied with the purchase and I recommend it. Read more Collapse

The tyres grip the road perfectly, without squeaking on the bends and roundabouts I often drive on. Braking is perfect on the road. I have not noticed any wear after 15,000 km. However, I have noticed lower fuel consumption with Goodyear tyres. A 100 km drive (on the road) at an average speed of 110 km uses 8 litres of gas (2 litres 115 HP engine) with 3 people on board. Whereas in the city of Poznan or Srem the gas consumption is about 9 - 9, 5. The tyres are flexible, great when starting and driving. It is worth to invest and buy such good tyres. I am the owner of Opel Corsa C 1.7 dti. Tires purchased on Oponeo.co.uk. I ride on them about 5 months and I drove around 9 thousand. miles. Tyre wear very low in relation to Continental Conti Premium Contact 2, it is worth noting that slightly decreased the burning toy cars, and even driving on dry or wet roads is really excellent. I recommend to all my chosen tire model, as better at this price do not you buy. Be careful when you buy the better - better known tire brand does not always go hand in hand with their quality. I drove on these tires than 12 thousand. km. I believe that in this price class tires are great. During this period, use little grated tread. In dry conditions very well behaved. They are as quiet and well stick to the surface. In contrast, the wet are sensational. Well disperse water. With sharp braking there are not sliding. And as for the economics driving them to admit that they are better than the competition in this price range. I observed lower fuel driving to them. In summary ... very well invested money. I decided on the Goodyear brand and get disappointed. As for grip on dry and wet road has no objection, however, these tires are noisy. After the change of winter tires Firestone Winterhawk 3 is a drastic change. Those were faint. Here I was thinking that these are new tires and they need to reach out and lay down. After driving about 2000km already all the time is a disruptive noise. I hope it goes away, but I doubt it. Definitely I do not recommend this model. Read more Collapse

I travel a lot, mostly around the city. Tires mentioned at the beginning of the season in April. The car holds the road well, both on dry and wet roads. Positive surprises braking. Surprised he was also the driver of the car, running behind me, who going the same speed, he was not able to stop the car in the wet ... luckily ended up on a fine crash. Money well spent. Tires behave very well on the road, even on such poor quality roads for our eastern border. They do well in the mountains and in the field. I do not remember to turn on ABS at sharp braking. When you visit the website of tires, the employee asked a small złużyciem tire relative to the amount of driven kilometers. Price for super quality. I would recommend !! Read more Collapse

Definitely better grip and ride comfort compared to the previous tires like Yokohama and Michelin. After traveling more than 7000 km tires still look like new. Read more Collapse

My summer tires operate only from this summer, so I can not judge their life after several seasons of use. For now, they look like new. Tires behave very well on wet roads, well disperse water, easily inhibit (short braking distance). In dry conditions do not hear too much noise. These tires are very safe and very well stick to the road. Read more Collapse

Until now only on Continental and Fuldach ridden, I think it is worth a try, really very quiet and good road holding, wet yet untested. The tread does not put on the shoulders, but we'll see.
